Friday Fun Day with Smiles 166.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Not so much fun maybe but sure this will make you smile.
Been walking in the park and everything seems relatively quiet but why!
Here's the reason.......
All the ducks, geese and swans are awaiting the new arrivals!

The boys are resting up but keeping guard.
Can you see her on the Island?

Not far away lies something white.

That's better now you can see who it is.

Even her husband is being relatively calm for a while though he is showing off a bit today.

Who can blame him though, he is gorgeous.

Of course I will post photos when the babies arrive.

That was going to be your lot for today but had to show you these photos.

Last Saturday we got up to find this:

The weather has been mild all winter and now this!
Still it didn't stop for long.
So that's your lot for today except for this:

"An understanding of the natural world and what's in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment." -- David Attenborough

 Thanks for stopping by.
Let me know if they make you smile.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too if you like.

Thanks for stopping by,

Angela x

Beautiful photos of the swans. I bet you won't be able to get anywhere near them once they have their babies.
What, snow? I have been sitting in the sun yesterday doing some lacemaking. Ideal thing to do on the terrace. Plenty of light and room for a table and other things.
Have a great week,
Lisca

Well done getting all those lovely photos. I love the way the swans lift their wings like that. How lovely to have all those little chicks to look forward to. I don't blame them for staying inside their egg until that snow has passed though. Kate x
