WOYWW # 482 What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Not quite what you expected as we've been away for a few days with my parents but didn't want you to miss out on my desk this week even though nothing is really happening.

I am spending this week concentrating on my new camera and my parents of course.
None the less I shall find time to visit you all, it just might take me a bit longer than usual but I'll be there.

A few of you had asked me last week what the Felting Bulb was for so at least I can add some interest to this post.

Image result for felting bulb spray

This is a rubbery container which holds water, it has a metal tube which is pushed inside and this has a rose spout on the end rather like watering can. This piece of kit is used for wet felting and releases the water better than a spray for this type of work but could easily be used for other projects needing a sprinkler I'm sure.
If you need further info about this or want to buy one I have a link here:

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off soon to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela xXx

Ooh family and a new camera - sounds a great combination. Loved the look of your "desk" this week, what a lovely chair and how compact it looks at the side of the bed. Am sure there is a name for that kind of mirror on a little stand/drawer.
Continue enjoying your parents and take lots of pictures for the memory box/book.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

That is a very interesting tool! You could have a contest to "name this tool" and very few people would know what it was (well, we do now!). You do have a very pretty desk this week! Have a great week, Lindart #30

Fascinating, that felting bulb! It looks more like some kind of medical apparatus and I haven't the faintest idea how it would be used! Enjoy your stay at your parents, Angela! xx zsuzsa #24

Hi Angela, have a lovely time with your parents, and fun with your new camera. Your desk shot threw me - yours is one of the few desks I instantly recognise! Thanks for stopping by earlier and have a lovely week Heather x #11

Glad you’re having a good time away with your parents, Angela, and have got a bit of time to play with the camera. The felting bulb looks brilliant - I haven’t seen one of those before. It’s something I might invest in. To date, I’ve been using a milk container with holes punched in the lid! This leaked all over everything recently, quite apart from it taking up far too much room.

Thank you for your fun comment - nice to know other people’s animals clamour at meal times too! Ours get absolutely desperate, and you can see how they reach up and try and grab the tray as well!

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #37

How lovely that you have been 'family visiting'! That's a perfect reason to have such a clean desk, isn't it? Happy week, Angela...

Very interesting - I've just bought the bits to try dry felting. Haven't tried yet but I keep seeing more and more variations.

Hope you are having a good time while you are away :)

I've not seen those sprinklers before but they do make sense for wet felting, an activity I prefer to do outdoors I must say.
Enjoy your family time, your desk is very quaint this week. Have a super time & so sorry i'm late to visit. being away for a week and now trying to box away the kitchen has had a bit of an impact on me this week.
Will catch up with you soon..

Quality time with parents (or any family members) is precious, I know all about it! After painting (the lilac case) my beloved and I spend some quality time last week going for walks and such so I'm pretty late with my visit, it's almost weekend already! Enjoy, enjoy. Love from the Netherlands. Marit #20

HI Angela. Thank you for taking time to stop by while at your parents. I hope you had a lovely visit. You might not have a desk but that vanity is drool-worthy for sure. I LOVE it! I have a small glass mat I bought as part of a cutting system years ago. Nothing beats Tim's ingenuity. Now to find time to play... Creative Blessings! Kel 327
