WOYWW # 500 - What's On You Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk but an extra special one as this is the 500th post, how brilliant is that and still going strong. Well done Julia X
Getting back to the job in hand.....I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I know that Christmas is over but I always feel that this is a good time to make a few Christmas cards while the feeling is still there.

These are some free stamps from a magazine which I thought would fit nicely with some Graphic 45 stamps.
The little brown box at the back has lots of Christmas metal embellishments in-side but not got round to putting them away yet.

More on that later when I've finished some of the cards.

To the left of those is my little basket with some Yupo card and some old dies that needed an airing.
The little plastic containers just on the right of the basket are what I use for paint pouring.

And next, a little project I've been working on with some Tim Holtz dies and the stamps that go with them are around somewhere...... now where did I put them?

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Happy New Year Angela! Hope it's happy, healthy and craft filled as well :-D. I do like your new stamps, the partridge in a pear tree is particularly lovely, like a William de Morgan tile. That's the one I'd go for!

Hi Angela, I have to start Christmas Cards again before the weekend- first Christmas Card Club challenge is this weekend. Found it helps enormously to do them all year though. Love that die set! Happy New Year, Hugs, Shaz #5 X

Afternoon Angela. I wish you a very happy and blessed new year. Good for you - make some Christmas cards - spread it around the year - much easier on the stress levels than a last minute rush and panic! Love the blue paper in the final picture - looks as though you have been having fun with the end of a soldering iron..
Take care. God bless.

I know what you mean about that Christmas feeling - we're still desperately trying to hold onto it LOL, even though we'll be back at work tomorrow. Now I wish I had taken off Thurs and Friday as well, but I didn't want to get swamped upon my return! Happy New Year to you! Hope to see you lots in 2019! zsuzsa #19

Hello Angela

Happy New Year and Happy 500th WOYWW - such an achievement on Julia's part.

I have brushos out on the table - no further than that. I have been trying to get back into crafting mode today.
Thank you for the visit on Boxing Day - I had intended visiting everyone but once family arrived that was it. I've not done a lot since - until today.
I should make some Christmas cards ready as I was so far behind this time - but only had to buy one! Anne x #18

Hi Angela, Happy New Year and happy 500th WOYWW. In December when I was rushing to make all my Christmas cards, I decided that in 2019 I should be organised like several other deskers and make 1 or 2 every week - I'm already putting that off. I wish I had the motivation or inclination to make some before I pack all my Christmas stamps and dies away. Have a lovely week Heather x #33

HI Angela, Happy New Year!! Your desk always looks so inviting :o) I've never tried paint pouring, though the results look amazing, but it all looks a bit too scary, I'm happier watching than doing for now! I love those bug stamps and dies, I bet you will do wonderful stuff with those. Annie C #37

Love your idea of starting for Christmas next year whilst surrounded by Christmas. Nice stamps by the way.
I think I need to look through my dies and see just what I have - funny how they huild up and you don't use them as often as you should
Well, another year is over, we are on the 500th blog - here's to the next 100 and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
hugs, Neet 4 xx

Happy New Year Angela! safe to say after reading your previous post too, that’s it’s time your we’re pronounced Queen of the Masterboards, the cards yo7’ve made from them are inspirational for sure. I’ve made a couple of Christmas cards this morning too, weird how the mood carries you!

Happy New Year Angela & Happy 500th Woyww, you are one of two that made me sign up & I will be forever Thankful :))
Good to see you've already started you Christmas cards hee hee.. I have around 30 stamped images that never saw the light of day in 2018 so they are now waiting for 2019. The entomology die set along with the stamps was one of my Crafty pressies this Christmas, I am hoping to use them alongside some of my own artwork but i'm not looking that far ahead at the moment a very interesting set.
Creative Hugs Tracey xx
P.S I was surprised you had not heard of the Dorset Button :0

HI Angela, Ooh I had to smile over those dies and things needed some air. ( I am sure I have more than my fair share that is hungry to see daylight and get inky haha) And Yep, I totally agree and the bulk of what I have made over the last few weeks has been Christmas cards because, its cold and I am sorting through those at the moment so, it has been easy for me. ~Stacy #27

Angela, you are unstoppable. I can hardly imagine making Christmas cards after Christmas, never mind actually doing so. Kudos to you and the others who may be so inspired!

Oh I know what you mean about the Christmas cards before the stash goes away, not started mine yet but I usually try to get at least a dozen made before the end of January.

That shows great discipline, Angela, to be making Christmas cards in January!!! Haha! Nice new stamps and things to play with and I look forward to seeing what you come up with - your work is always so inspirational! Thank you for your visit, and my apologies for such a late reply - we seem to have been pretty busy this week and I'm feeling exhausted in between and have got behind with things again. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with those bags yet and they are just lying around cluttering up the place at the moment, but if I put them away they will probably never get used! Glad you enjoyed seeing the kitties. They have been so sweet since the weather got so cold, cuddling up and lots of mutual washing, and keeping me warm by lying on me!

Hope you have a great creative year ahead - happy New Year and happy very belated 500th WOYWW!
