Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.
Marg is hosting today and our challenge is Autumn Colours.
As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.
As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.
Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:
Then placed the frame dies in position.
Attach the whole design to the card blank and remove the Press and Seal.
I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
And here is my project for the challenge:
If you look closely you might even recognise some of the papers as they are all bits of left-over Masterboard that I've used before just perfect for die cutting these Tim Holtz leaves.
I always admire people who make CAS cards as I think it's one of the most difficult styles to make them look complete and generally when I do them I feel there is something missing but this card worked for me....than goodness!
So I took the left-over Masterboards and die cut them using a Tim Holtz die then positioned then and put a piece of Press and Seal over the top to stop them moving.
Die cut the sections
Then remove the centre. This can be kept for use on another card.
Keeping the dies in position I placed the design onto the card blank and then into my Misti. Next arrange the sentiment stamp.
Then stamp onto the card blank.
Turn the design over and attach the sticky dots and remove the backings.
Attach the whole design to the card blank and remove the Press and Seal.
I added some Peel Off stickers to complete the design.
I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
Happy crafty card making.

Love all those gorgeous die cuts leaves. The masterboard scraps you cut them from are perfect for the colour theme. Those little peel offs are so delicate too.
Thanks for being such a good teamie.

So clever how you use that press and seal. I know what you were saving those leaves for now. Fabulous card which oozes Autumn, the most wonderful of seasons. Sorry i've not been around Angela, lifes a little tough atm with not much time left in the day for little me apart from scheduled posts. Hope to be back up to speed soon in the hope of joining everyone at woyww again.
Sending Hugs your way & Thanks for your kind words recently Tracey xx
Thank you for the step by steps. I really enjoyed reading and seeing how you did this beautiful and creative card. Such a striking card x.
I love it when someone gives a step by step tutorial - thanks a lot for that. This is a great card, love autumnal cards - and it is a twofer as well (two for one)
Hugs, Neet xx
This is gorgeous, Angela. I'm not sure what a CAS card is, though... I love how you've used bits of masterboards to cut out the leaves - very effective and frugal! The way you've cut the frame is brilliant. Love it!

Oh look... masterboards in action! Your leaves are wonderful, each so individual, just as leaves should be. Really clever how you removed that central panel, and now have that ready and available for the next card.

I love this floating technique, great card x
It's a great technique to use with the leaves, really creates a tumbling feeling xx
Interesting technique and wonderful effect of the floating leaves on the card. Really beautiful, Angela! Now, where do we find Press & Seal on this side of the pond...
Lovely card Angela. Love your design. Judy DT
Absolutely gorgeous! Such a good use of 'leftovers', and the result is stunning.
