Friday fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This is the view over my fence at the bottom of the garden.

To the right you can just about see the building work that is taking place.

There's lots of noise and large equipment but lets go back a little.

Looking over the fence again.

Under those trees straight in front of us someone is watching!

Who could it be?

This was a lovely sunny day and someone was making the most of it.

They knew I was watching them but didn't seem that bothered and as yet the building work doesn't seem to have been a problem either.
Interestingly the area was supposedly surveyed and we were told there was no wildlife living around this area obviously they were wrong! But we already knew this but what do they care!
I just hope that the loss of land for the foxes doesn't make them wonder into places where they are not welcome. Occasionally we saw them in the gardens but they were never a problem.

I have to smile because they really don't seem bothered about what's  going on.

So it's time for another snooze!

Hope you enjoyed seeing our visitors, hopefully they'll be back again soon.

More gardening, this time over the garage. The Wisteria is lovely but goes mad every year so needs cutting back so him-indoors had to come out and climb the ladder.

Good collection of cuttings I'm sure you'll agree.

Stan came for a look to see what was going on. I cannot imagine what he's thinking!
These are fig leaves and they are massive but no figs I'm afraid.

Maisie came to check it all out too.

One more job before the winter, cleaning the pond filters, a bit messy but has to be done.

And a few dog funnies to finish.

This could be Maisie.

Thank goodness this is not Maisie and Stan though I'm sure they would if we let them.

Hope they made you smile.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Thanks for linking up this week. I’m sorry I had no smiles to share but I do have one to share with you this morning....for the first time since last Thursday I have woken with no fever. I am as weak as a kitten and very shaky still but hopefully I’m on the up now. Thanks for caring. I’m so glad I am double jabbed....I’m sure it would have been much worse otherwise.
Hugs,

How lovely to see foxes close up like that (unless you keep chickens of course). They are rather beautiful and are obviously making the most of the autumn sunshine. Urban foxes seem to have got used to all sorts going on around them.
Well done on all the gardening. I am still working up to doing some. I keep saying it's too warm out the front still, and before long it will be too cold, so I guess I ought to 'seize the day'!
I used to be the one to clean the pool filter and it is a messy job, but a good one when it is done.
Have a good weekend. Kate x

Those little foxes are SO cute. I can't believe they are hunted. They are too cute to be dangerous. Of course, I've never seen one except in photos. They are simply adorable. I hope they are safe where they are and don't wander into your koi pond area.

Lots of clean up going on where you are this week, Angela. It's SO good to have a helping hand when it comes to cleaning up the area. I could have used your husband's help when I was clearing the bamboo. He seems to have been quite helpful. Sorry to read you had no figs this years, but you have lots of compost fodder. BTW, Stan looks really good. It's been awhile since I've seen him.

I loved the next to the last funny with the backward dog. It was hilarious. Have a super rest of Friday and a great weekend, dear. Hope by now that filter has been cleaned!

Great photos of the foxes! Yes, they could become a nuisance with their habitat reduced. Foxes are so intelligent. They learn about humans very quickly and will find food.
The wisteria certainly is huge! Does it flower? I don't recall ever seeing a photo of your wisteria in full bloom. (I love them)
The funnies were very good again today. You really know how to find then!
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Fabulous funnies and so enjoyed reading them x. Great to see the foxes again and yes lets hope they are not too disturbed or wander where they shouldn't' x.

So much going on in your area. The fox photos are lovely (it's literally years since I've seen one in Canada). Being a non-gardener, that yard work looks prodigious to the max! Happy week, my friend! xo
