Masterboard Monday Use it or Loose it.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

 

Do you remember this from last week?

Not had a lot of time since then so I've used some of the Masterboard from last week.

 

 

It's funny how the embossed areas shine when you photograph them, they were heat embossed.

 

 

So enough of that let's see what happened next.

A simple card, quick to make and only uses a small piece of the Masterboard so that's got to be good.

This is a very clean card but I did add some blended colour around the edge of the white card before layering it on top of the green.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Alfie is doing well and growing every second.

 

Here he is in some of his favourite positions.

 

Don't worry he's not got his head stuck!

 

It always surprises me how quickly dogs make your home their own.

They both have a shock coming as they are going for a hair cut today just as they've said it's going cold again so better get some warm jackets at the ready.

And yes it was snowing yesterday though it didn't settle for long thank goodness.

 

 

I don't have a lot to show you today as we've been busy sorting stuff for my mum.

 

 

She looks a bit happier on this photo but she's having her ups and downs at the moment after being moved to the new place but I'm sure in time she will settle.

There has been a lot of flight activity over us this week and it's not the Red Arrows and that's all I'm saying.

Had a day out with the girls yesterday which was a nice change.

 

Managed some crafting.

 

 

But need to make more of these soon.

I so love Lavinia stamps.

And that's it really I'll just finish with a few smiles.

 

This must be a common thing with Schnauzers as our two wre really good at bringing the outdoors, indoors.

 

I'm sure all dogs think like this.

 

And finally a famous dog whisperer though we don't see him so often now.

WOYWW - 718 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Hi Workdesk friends. 
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

So here is my desk for today!

The desk looks quite tidy and even the boxes don't look as though thery are about to explode which might tell you I haven't been around much.

 

I did got to the Craft Club last Saturday and was working on a new fold card, using up some free magazine papers.

 

I really like this card fold and the papers too.

 

I found the little feathers hanging around with some other stash and I so love the way they finish this card.

I have made an Easter card which I posted here on Monday which you might like.

And that's it really for this week but hope to have more to show you next week.

So that's me done for today.

Masterboard Monday.

  Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

 Couldn't resist another Retiform design as I've not made one for a while so I got out the ink and A3 card.

 

Any combination of different colours for this is good and I've chosen three Distress inks for this project.

 

 

I  use sticky notes to blank off the lines and then apply the ink with a blending tool.

 

 

I have scanned this finished Masterboard so it's ready to use again and I can have a play later at changing the colours too but we'll see.

 

I know it's a while to go yet but his year I will make sure I have Easter cards at the ready so that's what I'm making here today.

 

  These images are all by Lavinia stamps including the stencils and perfect for Easter cards.

I've stamped and heat embossed some of the larger hares and fussy cut them out.

And I'm guessing you'd like to see how I've used this right! so here goes.

 

I've only been making these fancy fold cards for a short time but they are so much fun to work on.

 

This one is usually called a Triple Point Crossover Card.

 

 

I've stamped some of the Hares inside the card too and included a sentiment.

 

I finished the card with a small bow and Stickles Glitter Glue.

I can't help using the glitter glue it just makes the imagers stand out that bit more.

With an A3 Masterboard there will certainly be more cards to follow but better get a Mother's Day card made next.

Friday Fun Day.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

 Saturday was a great day at the Craft Club and a busy one too. The hall was really full.

We were making little storage boxes.

 

We have some very talented ladies and gentleman at the club and I'd like to show you a few of the other projects that they were working on.

 

Gorgeous cards.

 

Now they have to make you smile.

 

This was the Care home that we visited earlier in the week and I'm pleased to say that they have a space available for my mu  and she will be moving in on Friday.

I will try and visit as many of you as I can but we will be out for some time today so it may be later before I get round.

 

This is not the care home this is the car park in town as we were at the bank on Thursday.

 

We stopped off at Marks and Spencer's and had this nice lunch, scrummy.

I don't want to leave you without somthing to smile about so here come the funnies now.

 

We're looking for a dog bath at the moment.

There really hasn't been much going on this week as we've been spending time looking for a Care Home for my mum and fingers crossed we might be nearly there. I have found it hard to concentrate on crafting but also not had much time either.

However I did get on the computer to check out That's Crafty's sale. They are moving soon and have lots of goodies reduced.

I know! I said I wouldn't do this but the offers were to good to miss and I needed cheering up. 

I know, I have no will power, I'm pathetic Lol!

Also a bit obsessed with Studio Light at the moment.

My excuse is that I already have some Studio Light stuff and this will help me to use it up.

Just need to find time to play now.

So that's me done for today.
