This is my actual desk at the moment.

 Brand new, only just become available at the Craft Stash and only £12.99 for all this!

The magazine is full of ideas and gorgeous papers too.

I'm not normally a lover of printed magazine images but sure I can find some use for them.

That's me done for today cos I need to go and play with my new goodies but first I need to get round and see what everyone else has been up to. 

Oh and I've found some old Masterboards too so I'll be busy making some cards with those for the anniversary.

Masterboard Monday.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these Masterboard Left-overs:

These are some A4 sheets of stamped card.

I cannot say how long ago it was that I made them but I found some photographs on my computer from before the blog started.

So this is one from the past.

And now the new one using a square Craft card blank.

 Layered everything and added Stickles Glitter glue.

These dies make a quick card look really special.

The die cut sentiment is by Sizzix for Tim Holtz.

Friday Fun day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

As some of you know it's been a sad couple of weeks for us and I haven't really felt like doing much and as we certainly can't go any where I thought that I would show you some of the things around the house that make me smile and I hope they make you smile too.

My little rabbit that I needle felted a while ago and my absolutely favourite clock. 

If you look closely you'll find the little mouse that is the artists signature piece. The glaze of the clock is beautiful too.

My fireplace where I like to keep a few of my artwork pieces and a few pieces I've obtained over the years.

I love anything from the Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Arts and Craft period.

The vase is by Moorcroft, an anniversary gift from my hubby.

I know this guy is a bit ugly but still love him.

I've also collected some carved Japanese pieces too and there's a little carved mouse there which is nothing to do with the rest or the little ceramic bird. The Japanese pieces are called Netsuke.

And in the garden:

And these beauties were left at my front door by a friend.

I haven't included any dog funnies today mainly because I just haven't felt in the mood for them but I'll try for next week.

As if things haven't been hard enough I received a letter yesterday saying that I have to do Jury Service which is just what I could do without at the moment as you can imagine my mother is having a hard time coming to terms with everything and we're still working on sorting my dad's finances, so much stuff that he has kept over the years and everything else that has to be done.

Sorry about that I'm supposed to be making you smile.

Not much change this week as I've been otherwise occupied however!

New stamps by The Artistic Stamper which you will see again soon but that's all I'm saying for now.

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - 256 Celebrations.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Kim is hosting today and our challenge is Celebrations.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge. 

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

I made two masterboards for this card using Altenew Stamps: 'Halftone Squares' and layered the coloured design over the monotone piece.

The sentiment die is by Die-Versions.

I've gone for even more colour on this card so decided to add some large sequins that have been hanging around.

I have die cut the sentiment twice, one in green Mirri card and the other in grey card to create a shadow towards the back.

This was the original Masterboard which was actually just me playing with some new stamps.

Friday Fun Day with Sadly Not so Many Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I have sad news to begin with. 

My poor dad had to go into hospital as he was still having problems with the Cellulitis that started over Easter and unfortunately we are unable to visit him, sadly he died on Tuesday morning.

We hadn't realised that Cellulitis can be a sign of your heart failing as the legs fill up with water due to the heart not pumping around the body correctly and the oxygen levels drop.

Mum is coming to terms with being on her own but at least she has the carers visiting. 

We are trying to look on the bright side that at 92 he had a good innings. 

It's a very difficult time for everyone some way or another and I hope you are all coping.

I did have some smiles before this happened, last weekend.

Now what's this all about!

Well now it's this!

I bought the shears years ago, longer than I will admit to and never used them until now.

And here's Maisie looking woolly.

And here not so woolly though I think I need to go over her again as it got a bit late.

It was a lovely day when I did this last Saturday but not good light for the photographs. 

I think for my first try they look alright just need a bit more practice......sorry dogs.

There were some other smiles early in the week:

New trolleys from Hobbycraft. 

An on-line buy obviously.

Just finished this by Joanna Sheen who many of you will know from her crafting.

This is the first of her books that I've read and it was so good that I might have to order more.

My Easter Cacti looking good.

And to the side of it a Ceramic piece with Mushrooms/toadstools.

And another of my Orchids which has just started flowering, it's so pretty.
