Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
More brick work today, it's all coming along nicely.
They have started on the bandstand too as some kind people decide to set the roof on fire some time ago so the council are replacing it.
Someone is keeping his eye on the proceedings!
Maisie and Stan watched over the replacement of the pond net this week too.
The worst bit is getting the old net off but I always forget this!
Next we have to place lengths of wood across to support the net until it is secured.
And there we are all done which is good because it's turned cooler here and the fish can now settle down for the winter.
Maisie has come to inspect!
Now she has sent for Stan.
Obviously not impressed they have decided it's time to find something more interesting Lol!
Have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by.

Hi Angela. Your pond is really lovely. We used to have one with frogs in but filled it in when our children were little for safety so I shall enjoy sharing yours now :-) Thanks for joining in the fun.
Hugs,

What a lovely pond! Indeed, what a lovely garden! I never knew people had pond nets (because I have never had a pond, duh!)
The weir in the park is coming on. Looking forward to seeing pictures when it is finished.
Happy Friday,
Lisca
What a lovely pair of dogs you have there. We used to net our pond too, partly to catch all the autumn leaves and partly to ward off the visiting heron. I quite miss our fish. I used to enjoy watching them. The work in the park is coming along nicely. It will be great when it is done. Kate x

Happy weekend Angela, lovely to see things are still progressing in the park...aren't some people thoughtless but a new roof on the bandstand will be wonderful.. Now your back yard is amazing...a lovely pond with fish, I'm jealous...is the net to stop the birds or just leaves. Your dogs are the cutest (is that a good word for dogs) anyway they're the nicest looking dogs. Have a fabulous week Cheers Robyn
