Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain then show us yours!
So here is my desk for today!
Sadly that roll of ribbon is still there unused but I will get to it sometime.
Not sure how the door hanger ended up there (top left), made it ages ago.
A new thing that you might notice is just on the right towards the front. It's a grippy thing that I am using to hold the pebbles while I paint them.
The tags hung up are some that I made for the Steampunk Festival. If you haven't seen the photos there are lots of them. Some here: https://angelacuttingandcarving.blogspot.com/2018/08/friday-fun-day_31.html
I love these cog dies by Tim Holtz.
The pebbles are being painted and will end up as more dragon eyes.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
Angela xXx

Morning Angela. You've been having loads of fun! Where do you place your dragon eyes when they are done? Fun tags too.
Take care. God bless.

Well, that's just clever using that grippy tool for painting the pebbles with. - if I tried that, my hand would seize up after a while! Love the steampunk tags too, you do have some great ideas!

Grippy thing. LOL That cracked me up! I'm sure it has an official name but I like grippy thing! I found tons of rocks in my backyard and I'm hoping to get inspired by your creations and do some too. Have a great week. Dorlene #31
Why is everyone calling it a grippy thing, when it is called a vice grip and one of the most useful tools in ANY toolbox (grin). Of course I love the steampunk tags. Happy WOYWW from # 5.
I take it you aren't going to the crop. I'll see you smilin' on Friday.
Love the tags very whimsical. Enjoy your week. #35
Hi Angela, fabulous steam punk tags, but what really grabbed my attention was the grippy thing! Looks quite a lethal weapon! Have a lovely week Heather x #12

Hi Angela, thanks so much for the link to your previous dragon's eyes - they are stunning, and also thanks for the excellent tip about spraying texture paste before putting the lid back on - I'll definitely try that.

What fabulous tags, Angela - your steampunk items always pull me right in. They're just glorious!!
Great idea for the pebble, must admit most of mine are just decorated on the very top (usually whilst sat at the beach) but like the idea of decorating it all over. fabulous tags too.

Hi Angela, ooh cool looks like a "real" vise grips tool too. :) Love the texture of the sprockets on the steampunk tags a lot too. ~Stacy #29
Hi Angela sorry i'm late and it looks like I have a few posts of yours to catch up with, another thing on my weekend to do list.
Those steampunk tags are really fab, look forward to seeing those finished pebbles. I found a pebble I decorated over 40 years ago, when I unbox the contents of my kitchen i'll post a pick just for you :)
Have a smashing week.

Those tags are just lovely! I think I have the same chipboard-radar/wheel-thingies laying in a box somewhere... the way you use them is fabulous! Big hug from Holland, Marit #25

The Steampunk Festival looks awesome! Especially that last photos of the knight and the angel - those wings look sharp! Your desk looks nice and busy, the ATCs are wonderful, and your grip looks like an alligator! Thanks for your visit, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, I've been working so much lately! Have a great week, Lindart #23
Oh my goodness I want those steampunk tags. They are gorgeous. I did peek at some of the photos from the festival. I wish I could attend such a wonderful event. Can't wait to see what you do with the pebbles. Which reminds me I have some riverrocks I want to paint. Have a blessed day and thank you for visiting me.
