Masterboard Monday - Any left-overs? Plenty here!.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This was made on A4 watercolour paper and I had a few pieces left after completing an earler card.

If you've any small left-over pieces then this card is for you.

I started this design using a Woodware stamp on white card and the Masterboard then cut out the flowers.
The shiny card will be used later for the layering.

And here it is.
The sentiment stamp is by Woodware and I've used Watercolours for the jar and leaves.

I've used 3D pads to mount the petals to give some dimension to the card.

And then finished it off with Stickles Glitter Glue.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun day With Smiles and dogs.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I have to be honest that I have been a bit busy Lol! and I suspect you have too but in-between putting the turkey in, starting the veg etc. I managed to take a few pics of my favourite friends.

As you can see, it's a dog's life here!
Comfy or what!

And while I was busy cooking, getting the table ready, washing up etc. Stan managed to find interesting places at my parents house to rest his head.
He obviously has a good taste in artists too.

And so likes a cosy spot.

Maisie managed to pinch this place for a while.

But got fed up and decided the hall stairs was a better place.

And soon decided to have a snooze.

We did have time for a little hug too.

And finally a few funnies to finish off.
Not really Christmas but if you have a dog you'll be able to relate to these.

Thank goodness we don't have this problem with our two.

But this is a different matter!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Just as I left it on Monday! working on a Black and White card.
The desk probably looks a bit more normal for me.

You might like this though.

Maisie and Stan ready for Christmas though they don't look very excited.

And Stan quite obviously thought,
"That's enough of that, I'm off".

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks though there may not be so many today as everyone will be busy enjoying themselves.

I'm a bit busy too but will be round to see what everyone's up to soon though it may not be everyone today.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I make no apologies, I know you've seen this Masterboard before here and here with details but this is why I love them so much because you can make so many cards with them.
The Masterboards are my play time and I have no thoughts of how I will use them. Sometimes I will put them away for months and then come back to them, it works for me!

This card has a slightly different layout and a different coloured textured card to go with the Masterboard.

I just used a die to shape the Masterboard and then layered it over blue textured card.
I've used Stickles Glitter Glue on the stamens and to highlight some of the dots on the textured card too.
A die cut sentiment completes the design.

Hope you like it, I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Christmas Kickstart Challenge: 26 - Last Minute Madness.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I actually seem to have been so busy that I haven't had time to take photographs but I did stop for a moment when shopping with my mum to show you this.

Meadowhall Shopping Mall in Sheffield.

Not really as busy as we thought it would be which was nice. This was Tuesday.

We arrived just as these school children were getting ready to start singing carols.

I think these two realised they were having their photo taken.

But it certainly didn't put them off!

So sweet.

We did go to the garden centre too this week and there were more Christmas things than plants but I thought you might like this little gang singing Christmas songs.

He's cute too.
No plants in sight here either.

Have a great weekend and a very happy Christmas everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW#550- What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I think this desk looks rather tidy and organised, quite like it but can't promise it will stay this way.
Apart from the things on the desk something else reappeared this week that wasn't here last week but I wonder if you know what it/they are?.

As the Christmas cards are all finished I've started on some Altenew projects to try out some of their stamps and dies that I'd not got round to playing with.
  • The stamps are to the left of the glass mat and a couple of watercolour pads waiting for me to stamp in them.
  • There are some old scale weights towards the back as I find these useful for helping to flatten stuff.
  • On the right there are Baby wet ones for cleaning stamps.
  • A stack of gems, some red line tape, a small exploding tub with odds and ends in it and a blue box which you can just see has brushes, scissors and other tools. This needs sorting at some stage as I used it to store stuff when we were having the roof altered.
  • On the top of the glass mat is my Tim Holtz stamping platform with a Pink Pig Pad on the top.

So that's my desk for today but as I can't show you any finished pieces, I'm showing you this which I posted on Monday, part of my play time with the Altenew stamps.

If you're interesting in seeing how I used it you can find it here just below this post.

Thanks for stopping by and many thanks to those lovely people who sent me such gorgeous Christmas cards.
I hope your Christmas is full of happiness.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela xXx

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you two cards made with this Masterboard:

There are more details about this Masterboard here.

I made this using a layering stamp by Altenew and added some Stickles Glitter glue when complete.

I've combined part of the Masterboard with some textured card to break up the design a little.

Then added a die cut sentiment and another poinsettia flower to complete the design.

It may take a while to make the Masterboard but the cards are quick.

Another card, slightly different layout and the snowflakes where from a Tim Holtz die and are actually the negative bits that we normally throw away but I'm sure you'll agree they are too nice for the bin.

Hope you like those, I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I seem to have been busy mostly card making but don't have much to show for it.

Just showing you this space as a few of my visitors have been confused by what is going on.
This is the original home of my desk but it's different because we've had a solid roof put on and the original Polycarbonate removed.

Which is how come I have gained this lovely skylight.
This room is between the dining room and the conservatory which also now has a solid roof.

And this is where the confusion happened because at the same time my hubby has been building me a new log cabin studio and this is where we're up to with it.

The inside is almost finished with a nice bright colour to give plenty of light.

The plastic bags that you can see holds the new chairs which are waiting for everything else to arrive.

So as you can see things are moving on but as yet not quite ready to move in.
I have no intention of rushing this as I've waited a long time to get it so want to get it right....hopefully!

Finally something to make you smile.
Look at the size of this Eclair. I've put the ruler next to it so you could see just how big it was and I say was, because we've eaten it! and I can tell you it was scrummy.

And finally a few doggy funnies though actually very true!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

So here is my desk for today well it was yesterday actually as I've nearly cleared them away now!

My final lot of cards all finished, just as well as time is running out! though I have sent the ones that need posting any distance.

This is probably the tidiest you will ever see my desk so enjoy before the mess arrives back Lol!

And that's me done for today I'm off for a while to do some more work in the new craft cabin and who knows I might even be able to start organising the shelving soon then I'll be round to to see what you've been up to.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Crafty Cardmakers 247 - 'Christmas'

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Mary is hosting today and our challenge is 'Christmas'.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

For this card I've used some Christmas paper from my stash, Altenew Poinsettia stamps, Tim Holtz dies and a sentiment die that was free in a magazine.
I finished this off with some Stickles Glitter glue and glazed the petals.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.
