Crafty Cardmakers # 238 - Here Comes Summer.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Chanya is hosting today and our challenge is 'Here Comes Summer'.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

These Woodware stamps are so full of gorgeous detail.

A great set with text stamps too.

I started by stamping onto some hand coloured background papers. These had been prepared earlier using Distress Oxides. I used Archival ink for the stamping as I intended adding some extra colour later.

You will notice that I've stamped this several times, might as well get a few done while the stamp is covered in ink Lol!

I used a ball tool on the centre of the flower to round it a little and then
added Stickles Glitter Glue and when dry went over this with Glossy Accents, also added this to the text.

Next attached the flower using the centre, leaving the petals loose so they could stand out giving dimension to the flower.

I used scissors to grunge the edge of the top layer and completed the card by adding a little more Stickles Glitter glue to the dots and circles.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.

 Happy crafting,
Angela x
I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:
Penny Black and More: July Summer Colours.
Stamping Sensations: The Earth Laughs in Flowers.

The fussy cutting and popping up on foam pads gives more dimension to the flower and lifts the whole design. Love the subtle colours too. Woodware have had a good release this year, lots of designs I'd want…
Glad you liked my latest stuff, been otherwise engaged with real life too since February and not on top of my blogging either!

oh wow, lovely card with some great depth. The stamp is so detailed I thought it was many layers that had been stamped with splats, circles etc. Love it.
