WOYWW # 527 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm not sure I should be giving you such a good view of the mess just to the left though I don't need to tell you which side it's on as I think it's pretty obvious really!

I could apologise for the my desk looking untidy but once again I'm just moving on to a new project, well two actually and time is not on my side so the tidying up thing will have to wait.

I have just completed another card using the Chevron die and it can be found here.

Most of the stuff above is waiting to be made into a Wedding Card.

Now this side looks better. The little tub just has some bits which popped out of something I was die cutting but no idea what I'm going to do with them but I need to stop saving these bits and pieces.

I'm sure you've seen this corner before but it's were I keep some of my ribbon and I really mean some!
The little box under the tag punch contains die release paper which is a bit like tissue paper.
Then there's  Little Ted and Monkey who actually serve no purpose at all in crafting but just keep me company.
The metal dishes are not on the teddies head though it looks like that.
It's not easy to see but there is a clear plastic stand in the box and the teddy is sitting under it. It's what I use when I'm working with Fantasy Fibres and the metal dishes are on top of it.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

You say it's messy but it really is much tidier than mine, no time to craft of tidy on my behalf so it's always lovely to see what you've been up to. I've not made a Wedding card for years they always make me nervous as i'm such a messy crafter. Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey #8
P.S That chevron die is proving very popular xx

Like your ribbon storage, very nice indeed! Yep, I agree with you - throw away all those tiny little odd and ends, you'll never use them and you'll feel much better when you've freed up the space! (You can tell I'm not a hoarder, eh?!)

You may say it's messy but at least your ribbon storage is a lot more organized and neat than mine is (I just throw them in a box... ouch!) You would not have thought that about me now is it?! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #18

That is a very pretty array of ribbons. I still come across boxes/tins of bits that I save and I still can't throw them away. Organised mess is a sign of a very creative mind.

Hi Angela, nice desk tour,I tend to end up with a mountain of 'stuff' when I'm creating too. I's fine, you're amongst friends here, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

Hello Angela! Whenever I craft I make a hot mess and then don't want to move anything so I end up with multiple projects squeezed on the table and then piles of craft crap everywhere. I dream of being a neat crafter but after 15 years, I think I need to let that one go! Have a blessed week! I haven't posted this week but I wanted to thank you for the visit last week.

I don't think of "messy" but busy. You always seem to have some special project or two going! I looked back at the chevron card, very cool! That die can make any paper look good! Have a great week!

Yes busy..not messy. And I agree bits and pieces seem to be too much. I've put some in folders by color and keep them by my cutting table and HAVE used them. Thanks for stopping by. I'm catching up he's at a ball game enjoying wind and heat. Have a fun week.

Hi Angela, Looks like you have most things to hand. Most of my crafting stuff is in two sideboards, so I tend to forget it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy WOYWW

Well you say it's messy, but underneath the surface layer I bet it's beautifully organised and you know where everything is. Nice to see someone else with enough ribbon to last several lifetimes (and I can still find more I 'need' whenever I go to a fabric shop!).
I just followed the link to your chevron card - it's fabulous and I like the clean understated style of the chevron pattern - I haven't seen that die before but it looks like it could be a very useful one.

That stash of ribbon is so colourful and happy! Your companions are also very cute. Looking forward to seeing the wedding card when it's finished! Your two chevron cards are so different, but both are lovely! I have saved the outside of one of the wildflowers that I cut out and plan to do something like what you did with it, we will see...Have a great week, thanks for your visit! Lindart #24

Thanks for visiting, Angela, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the fruits of my labours in the kitchen! I love Chef AJ's chocolate recipes because you get to eat chocolate without the guilt! The brownies really are delicious and so easy to make as well.

I’m sorry I’m late! ive realised that people can stand the sight of my desk because it’s not theirs, so don’t worry about yours either. If it doesn’t get in the way of your project, it must be ok! There will that moment though won’t there, and you’ll have to stop everything and do something. That’ll be when you throw out all the die cut trimmings as well, you’ll be totally over them!! Hope the wedding card went together well, these type of things usually do in your hands!

I keep my ribbons in a vintage library card chest of drawers, and it works great. Happy belated WOYWW!

Looks like two monkeys and Ted all very contained under a clear container, Angela! Hope it’s well ventilated like a spacesuit! 😉
Yes desk has loads of interest and curiously my “to my left” pile looks rather like yours too! Kinda spread like Topsy as you move into a new project. I get that. Lovely smiles above too.
Happy belated WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #20
