WOYWW # 558 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Hope you're having a good day.
I have had a bit of a move round but there's still some stuff on the desk from last week though I have another project.

These dies are new and I've been cutting up some of the papers from last week that I covered with Brushos and starch.

I combined the die cut pieces with some Altenew  triangular stamps to create a geometric pattern but it's only in the test stage at the moment.

However if you remember this from last week I didn't want you to be wondering what happened here so I'm showing you the finished card.

The stencil also has a die and stamps to match all by Altenew.
I thought it would be nice to try and combine them so I've added some stamping on the card blank and then used some more of the Brusho papers with the die.
The sentiment is part of the set too and it's called Leaf Medallion.

Never let it be said that I tease you and leave you wondering though I'm not sure at the moment what that embossing folder will be used for, we shall have to see.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I'm doing a whistle stop tour of all my favourite desks before I make my next Memory bear [and this one is for a very special little girl to take to her new adoptive home...what lovely jobs eh?].
It's always lovely to see how you build up layers to make your cards..such talent.

I really like the colours and patterns of the designs on the card, very much my taste - almost like mandalas. That would work in so many colours...

I love the lacey look today and as Jan says - they would work in lots of colours too. NB - I am an early bird checking desks this week - no Tilly today! xx Jo

HI Angela, love the card, the starch/Brusho paper looks fab.The medallions are awesome. I also like the idea you're working on with the triangles. Never considered that. I thought the folder could possibly be a 'snowy' background for C Cards?Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 X

Gorgeous, Angela. That's a great new set, isn't it, and I love your triangles piece too! On the card, I particularly like the way you've gone off the edges with the medallions. Great stuff!

Isn't it great when you get stamps, dies and folders that will all mix and match together you've really got your moneys worth there Angela. Your card is so lovely, the medallion can be lace, a flower or just a pretty pattern to adorn a page or card beautiful. That folder is certainly useful and I agree with Shaz it would make a fab snowy background. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey xx
P.S Nicely sorted Bigz dies, mine are in clusters of 12 all over the house :/

I love how you have put that card together and carried the design through to the back and then included just the right amount of the main image to a corner on the inside. Well thought out and beautifully executed.
I look forward to seeing what you have planned with those huge dies and all the components that you are seeing to be ideal for use on whatever it is you are making.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Your card is beautiful - very classy and elegant. I think the set looks fabulous and I love the fact you get everything matching so it all works so well together - I love Altenew products. The triangles look great too -not a shape I use much unless as roofs for little houses!
Hope you have a great week,

Thank you for not letting us wonder anymore Angela. What a beautiful card and the layering effect from the stamping, the stencilling and die cuts look wonderful and so very pretty and no wonder the card is for someone special x. The test page of triangles look intriguing and I wish my test pages looked like this ....LOL x.

Hi Angela, everytime I see one of your cards where you have stamped on the front and back of the card, I think ... I will try that, it looks really effective. And then I never do! However, I really like how you have made the card, so I shall be having a go over the next few weeks! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm hoping the break from crafting will mean I feel a hit more inspired, now I'm back, but time will tell. Have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #33

Sorry I’m late! Very first, at a glance, from a distance, I thought you had a sewing machine on your desk! see the white shape with the dies resting against it...no? Just me then?!!! I love the stencil brusho starch finished card, what a nice set. You are very patient with all the die cutting, I love all the mixed size shape dies, but hate using them!!
