WOYWW - 573 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I think we should have the UFO challenge more often as it gave me the push to use some stuff that's been sitting around for ages.

Some of you commented about the postage stamps that I had collected.
I am being honest now that I didn't realise that I had so many.
I Bought some at a country show from a charity, I remember that and I always take them off envelopes at Christmas but I have a packet from W H Smiths and do not remember when I got those at all.

However I have been good and started doing something with them and I've created a kind of Masterboard thingy to get me started. I have to say it took a while putting this together but I found it quite relaxing really.

I'm working on a card but not quite there yet as I've had a few distractions but my mum is picking up nicely.

Anyway the desk has a few dies by Poppy stamps and Memory Box which I'm using and other than that it's all the usual bits and pieces.
On the left some rubber gloves, my daylight lamp, some enamel dots and a scanned copy of the new mastrboard.
On the right are various types of glue and my box of tools and Baby wipes.

Hope to have something made for you to see next week.
For now stay safe.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Hi Angela, oh I agree I really tried hard to finish sorting stamps because of that challenge. Love the stamp board that is under construction too. It totally makes me think maybe I should unearth mine and see how many of them there really are. ha, not yet have to finish sorting stamps first. but, I really like the idea of a background to build on. ~Stacy #32

I must say that your desk is looking remarkably tidy my crafty friend.
I have a box of stamps that I bought when my girls were small. You could buy them in packets for £1 in one of our local 'Alladin's Cave' shops. They came in themed packets ie flowers, animals, travel, etc. I still have most of them as I just can't seem to part with them although I always forget to add them to anything. Perhaps I will have to try a masterboard lol.

Oooh I love your postage stamp masterboard, Angela! That's really original. I am sure you will do something amazing with it, as usual! Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you liked my wedding dress. I designed the dresses myself and mine was mixed-ethnic really - a cross between Russian and Thai! I think the kitties liked their card. Ruby gave it a good sniff when I showed her, but Lily hasn't showed much interest really. Reading between the lines what you said about your dogs, I think our old cat Beatrice would have been the same - it would have got CHEWED!!!

Happy WOYWW,

Like what you've started with those stamps Angela, sure you will do something amazing with it. I had to smile that you had a packet of stamps you don't recall buying - that would be half my craft room. Thanks for your visit, yes, we must both keep trudging around doing our watering. A small price to pay for suxh glorious weather. Happy belated WOYWW, Stay well, Stay safe, Cindy #14

Well, that's a different kind of "stamped" background - a great first layer for a masterboard with a difference.
