Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I showed you my flowers last week so I thought maybe an update on the fruit today.

You can see better here that we've netted the tree in the hope that we will get some cherries this year.
Okay so far.

Strawberries coming along nicely.

Apples setting too.

And the pears.
Everything looks good in the garden.

Babies in the park doing well.

The willows were trimmed in the autumn and looked pathetic.

They are thickening up right now.

My  dear friend sent me these. They arrive in bud and then thicken up as the week goes on, gorgeous!

Clematis flowering nicely.

Just a few funnies to finish.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Angela x

What a delight to see your garden flowering and fruiting. It is such a blessing! Here there are many cherry trees and the owners do all sorts of things to keep the birds away. Our neighbour has netting as he only has one large tree, but another neighbour has several and he has a 'canon' that goes boom every couple of minutes. I think the air vibration keeps the birds at bay. but it is irritating sometimes as we can still hear it with our windows open.
The swan babies are cute. It seems only like yesterday when we were following last year's brood.
I always have to smile at your dog funnies. I know that a lot of dogs sleep with their owners, but I would feel uncomfortable having them on the bed. But then, I'm not a dog owner, so I can't say.
Have a great weekend,
Keep smiling,
Lisca

Your garden certainly made me smile today. It does us all good to know that even in times like these nature just carries on and I actually do feel it's trying harder this year...maybe it knows we need extras to make us smile? I love the funnies. We have never allowed Milly on our bed but that doesn't means she never finds a way in and when she does she goes wild lol.
Hugs,
Annie x

Hi dear Angela... loving your photos... I wonder what cherry orchardists do to keep birds etc away? Where I lived in infants school they grew cherries up in cold area called northern tablelands.
I remember we could buy s big paerbag full of cherries for sixpence.
Hope they and all your fruit go well. And those clematis. They're astoundingly beautiful. God's amazing creation renews with the seasons, jn all its apsects .. a design with a Designer.
God bless you dear Angela and all whom you love, and keep you all safe.
Happy smiles day!😊😄😁
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X 🙏🤗❤

Everything in the garden is looking good. I love growing my own fruit, but now it is oranges and lemons instead of the lovely cooking apples and plums I had in UK.
That is a beautiful bunch of flowers. What a nice friend!
My dogs don't get anywhere near my bed, but your cartoons still made me smile. Kate x

I'm incredibly late visiting, and for that I'm truly sorry. I worked for two days from dawn to after dark working in my yard. Not long after I went to sleep on Friday morning we had a horrible storm that flooded my basement, high winds that blew branches, and leaves everywhere, then threw my furniture around like it was nothing. Then came the hail and rain, rain, rain. Friday I cleaned up my herbs and assessed the damage. Saturday I cleaned my side yard and the front. I have blisters on top of blisters. I hope you forgive the lateness of this visit.

OMGosh. I would NEVER starve if I lived in your garden. You have some wonderful fruit about to make fruit (that didn't make much sense, but I hope you got what I meant).

I loved your flowers and you must have a remarkable friend to send those. They are stunning. Hope you had a fabulous weekend, Angela and again, sorry I'm so late visiting.
