WOYWW - 575 # What's On You Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I've not got as much done this week as I had hoped and I've scheduled this post as we are expecting my mum to be going home this week so if I'm a bit late getting round please excuse me. I will get to you even if it's tomorrow.

On the left side is a half made card and my birthday diary where I list all the birthday dates. Behind those are some dies and pens and my daylight lamp.

On the right is a spray bottle, baby wet ones, box of tools and towards the back a tub of crackle glaze by Prima and some Windsor and Newton Sand Texture Gel.

I have only got round to adding Gesso to the pebbles and crackle glaze to the tube box but I'll get there soon. If you look carefully to the right there is a small brown box with a sweet little ATC poking out.

Since taking the photographs I've done this too so now you know where I'm going with these pebbles can't wait to get chance to start painting these.

As promised I have a photograph of some of the work I've finished using the postage stamp Masterboard.

This is the one I showed you last week and here is one of the new ones.

The tutorial and more photographs can be found here.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

YOu made me laugh, the coloured balls hanging above my desk are new- well spotted - they are a chain of lights that were given to me ages ago and I promised to hang them in my new kitchen... but they don’t look very effective in this big light room, so I decided to bunch them all up. Then I had to find a hook, be near a plug....and in the end they are in the only place that qualifies until Mr Dunnit gets involved! I do love your vision for the stones, my word I rarely see a shape and think that far forward, its a skill! And your master board continues to inspire you too, clever makes indeed. Trust that your Mum can come home and that she’ll feel better for being there. I dont think you should worry at all about visiting, this is going to be a busy enough week for you. Will be thinking of you as you help your Mum to be well again.

Wow, the cards are fabulous - I love how you've used the stamp master board. And now you've drawn a car on the stone I can see it, but if it was just a stone there is no way I would have thought of turning it into a car! Sooo clever and I can't wait to see it painted.
Hope your mum settles in well at home this week,
Have a good one and stay safe and well,

Morning Angela
I hope you get your Mum home and settled today. Take it steady.
I love your little pebble stone, you are so talented. Will look forward to seeing it grow.
I popped back to have a look at your masterboards after seeing what you've done with them. I used to do this all the time but it seems to have dropped out of my head as a way to work. Must try and get back in the habit.
Have a good week

Hi Angela, that was a great idea for a masterboard, I will catch up with that post soon. I hope your mum settles back at home well, it will be so different for her. I'm sure the car pebble is going to be amazing - you have such a creative mind- can you please try and rub some off on me! Sorry you had to cancel your holiday - we are going to spend more time having breaks in the UK for the next couple of years. I won't feel comfortable being in an international airport! Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #3

Sending love and strength to you and your mum. Having elderly / infirm parents is really hard, especially right now. I wouldn't have ever thought of using gesso on a pebble but I bet that makes a heck of a difference - genius! Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #23

HI Angela, OOH I love that the stamp panel wraps around the card and I was totally impressed to see that you are sketching a blueprint of where to paint on the stone too. ~Stacy #30

Brilliant busy desk as always, Angela, and the little pebble with the car is going to be so cute! Love the idea, how you are inspired by the shape of the pebble to create something unique. Your postage stamp masterboard is a great success and I love the monochrome effect of it too. Very striking indeed.

Thank you for your visit - glad you approve of my knives! The new one has been used to help prepare every single meal since it arrived so it's a good investment. I am delighted with it, and with the whole set. I do so much veg prep and good knives are essential.

I think our kitties are the most spoilt and indulged ever! My hubby is ultra-soft with them and lets them get away with murder. They definitely rule the roost, and give us endless entertainment value and joy on a daily basis. We really fell on our feet with these 2.

Hi Angela,

Thanks for your visit!
Have just been catching up on your latest posts, enjoying the step by step explanation of how the postage stamp Masterboard was created and admiring the different ways it's been put to use. So clever, and I agree that the wrap around continuation of the design onto the back of the card really takes it to another level.
Looking forward to seeing the finished pebbles - it's great when they spark ideas like that, and the car design is perfect for that particular shape!
I also smiled at the photo of your good girl sitting patiently on the hairdressing table. My small dog has just that same expression of resignation when it's time for me to give her a shearing!
Have alovely week!
