Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You may remember this from a couple of weeks ago and I'm just using up the last pieces to make these cards.

I have had so much fun playing around with these Tim Holtz cat stamps and some of his dies too. The cats were coloured with Zig watercolour brushes.

You'll notice I'm sure that this is not the cat that comes with the dies but I'm also sure that Tim wont mind. The fairy lights are by Stampotique and I've finished it with Stickles Glitter Glue on the lights.

I think these two are racing to see who can be first home to open their presents but what do you think.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Maisie here just to let you know that I'm in charge and everyone is here to ensure my comfort!

I'm just giving you my royal nose in the air look.

And if that's not high enough for you to understand my position here I'll just have to throw my head back even further...what a life!

What a madam! She's looking scruffy today but little does she know but she's going for a haircut today Hee! Hee! She wont like it!

Not got much to show for this week but finally getting my path down to the cabin made.
This arrived on Monday.....

And work started Wednesday so I've been forced to stay indoors as I can't get down to the cabin at the moment.

The Heron Guard has arrived that I mentioned last week and it looks like this.
It has various flashing lights then it barks like a dog, squawks like a Heron in distress and makes the sound of a poisonous frog. What can I say....not seen the Heron since it arrived but who knows.

Can't leave you without as few funnies.

This could be Stan.

This is definitely Stan!
Some of the parents out there will relate to this one.

And apparently you need a mortgage at the moment to buy a puppy.

That's me done for today.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW-599-What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!
I had to smile as you can just see the pendulum on the cuckoo clock swinging towards the desk.

Now what have we got today!
Well I'm working mostly on Christmas cards here and back to my old desk in the house.
I am using this desk mostly for card making and the cabin for all the mucky jobs but also a place to store and organise my stash so that I can actually access it rather than having it pushed away somewhere and never used or at least that's the plan!

I'm using some Card-io stamps and stencils.
You may be able to see towards the back on the left that I have the new Tim Holtz stamps and dies called Distinguished. It has lots of male styled hats and an umbrella and watch, that kind of thing.
I always find cards for men difficult and hope these will help but I also think they will mix well with some of the other stamps too.
I think I need to sort through the exploding box again as it is starting to look rather unstable!
Other than that I have some Stickles Glitter glue towards the back of the desk, some distress ink and a packet of wax paper.

Obviously I couldn't leave without showing you the results of my project from last week and here it is all finished.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Mixed Media Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Sadly Crafty Card Makers challenge blog has finished so my fortnightly card is no more but this means I have some extra time so thought it would be a good idea to get back to some serious Mixed Media projects.

I've recently joined the Creative Craft Academy. Hoping this will get me back in the mood and this is the first piece I've done with them.
Hope you like it.

We used a small wooden memory box and a Finnabair stencil to decorate the top, added small brads on the corners then the Snip Arts pieces, moulded shapes and the brass dragonfly.

Lots of nice coloured pastes used through the stencil and also dry brushed onto the top and sides.
I added some tiny seed pearls and a golden gem on the dragonfly for extra detail to the focal image.

I liked the packaging so much that I used it to line the box.

Really pleased with this and can't wait for the next box of goodies to arrive.

Hope you like it and I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's been a bit of a scary week here as we have had lots of visits from the Heron, I have no photographs as I was more concerned in scaring him away but we have added more canes to the pond in the hope that he cannot get close enough to the fish to do any damage to them but I can tell you he was a whopper! and I've ordered a Heron Guard, I'll let you know what happens when it arrives.

I did receive a nice photo from my friend who has gone back to France (they managed to travel back just before the Lockdown).
This is Tigne in the French Alps and the day she took this photograph most of the ground was green and the day after everything was white as they have had their first real snow fall so winter is on it's way.

This is my sweet Emily at school in her bubble class but not quite sure what they were looking for but it must be interesting.

Graculus the Cormorant is back again, think he must be resting after a hard morning diving. He's okay as he stays in the park and doesn't visit my garden.

Here's Maisie enjoying the nice weather.

I've been spending some time in the cabin this week working on a Mixed Media project from The Creative Craft Academy.

 Here's a little peak....

And these beauties too.

And of course I can't leave you without some funnies.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

WOYWW - 598 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Probably not what you were expecting but as I've been working in the cabin this week I thought you would like to see this desk for a change.

If you're wondering why there is a suitcase here, I'm not planning to go anywhere it's is an old one that I use to keep card in, mostly from old packaging and the like.

The project is Mixed Media from The Creative Craft Academy, I will let you see it again when it's finished.

This is the section for the top of the box using a Finnabair stencil and coloured stencil paste.

I know some of you were interested to see how the fabric rusting was getting on and I opened it up this week, washed it and wrapped it up again so more to come.

This is what it looks like at the moment with some nice green mould spots too.

This is my collection of nice rusty screws.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You may remember this from last week and the card below.

I am still working with this paper to show you a different card this week, well two actually.

The style is very similar just different colours and this week he is definitely sliding down on his gift box Lol!

No wonder his eyes are so wide!
These are the Christmas set of the Snarky Cat stamps by Tim Holtz.

I've stamped towards the back of the card again as usual. I just feel that this finishes the design off rather than a sudden stop at the fold.

And here they are once again.

Will I use this Masterboard again next week? You will just have to pop back and see.

In case you were wondering the background was stamped with this Stampotique stamp which is part of this set and the branches are Tim Holtz dies by Sizzix, everything was completed using Stickles Glitter Glue.

Hope you like the cards.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week though not a lot really as we are in Lockdown again even though Lincoln is one of the more lucky areas or maybe we've just been more careful, who knows.

The weather hasn't been too bad so gardening has been top of the list.

Though it doesn't seem to matter how often I sweep up the leaves they still reappear every day.

Photos down the garden.

And this very large mushroom/toadstool too.
I don't have much else today so I will finish with some dog funnies.

Hope you enjoyed those.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
