WOYWW - 604 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Bet you weren't expecting all this mess but I have a box to make which will hold a journal I've just completed so the desk is covered in crafting stuff.

Apart from that I have several AALL and Create stamps in the folder you can see here...birthday cards to make.

Close-up of the box and the little boxes have Christmas bits left over from making the cards. The tub is snowflake stuff as I have an idea for next years cards if it happens.
I always feel like making cards about now but don't usually do it because we go away which obviously we wont be doing this year so who knows.

This is a piece of watercolour paper decorated with shaving foam and coloured ink. I've stamped onto it with an AALL and Create stamp but not got any further with it yet.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
Angela x

You certainly have plenty on the go Angela. I don't dare start buying AALL and create stamps as there are so many gorgeous ones. I will stick to CLarity and StudioLight I think. Stay safe, happy WOYWW and Happy New Year. Sarah #9

Another AALL & Create fan here. I started with a drawer and now have three of them plus myk stencils in a folder. Oh dear, this spending has to stop - but it keeps me sane.
Looking forward to seeing the box for your journal
Here's to a better year ahead than the one we have just had. Keep blogging and stay safe, happy and well.
Hugs, Neet 13 xx

Hope you get your box made for the journal and get on with your cards too - Must get my brother's card made and in the post (6th Jan) I'd better do that rather than more faffing in my journal today! Lots of love for a happy and healthy new year and as everyone, hoping beyond hope it is better than this one! Helen #5

That is such a typical crafter's desk with projects on the go and so much waiting for time to experiment. Love it! Hopefully some happy crafting will help to compensate for the lack of travel xxx

Busy as usual Angela, I can’t decide what to do next. I have some large sheets of card that are goodness knows how old. I was thinking of doing a massive master board and making a concertina journal, but I am worried the card might buckle. I guess I could try and keep it as dry as possible. There are several sheets upstairs under the bed lying forgotten from one year to the next! Wishing you a happy and healthy new year Angela #14

I have just been up to measure that card, 75 cm (29.5 inches) by 62.5 cm (24.5 inches). It does even fit on my craft desk!

I love the mottled blue background with the steampunk octopus stamp, really floats my boat! I guess if you can’t go skiing then making a shedload of cards is a good thing to do with your time!
Happy New Year and Hugs,

Oh my word, I know that desk! Yep, it feels so familiar! Fantastic box, a perfect home for a finished journal, well done you. You’ve got it all going on! I just know that your shaving foam background and that stamp were made for each other. Those sort of stamps scare me to death, so I shall watch and admire! Sorry that you aren’t able to flee to ski, but hey, getting Christmas cards done for next year has to be a bonus!!

Hi Angela, sorry you will be missing out on skiing. One of my team skis, and is also a ski instructor, and he is chomping at the bit to go skiing again. On the plus side it gives you some extra time to play with your shaving foam and stamps. I love how you don't just stamp on paper - it's masterboards, and different ideas/components- which is far too adventurous for me. However I watched a YouTube using bubble wrap today, so who knows where I will end up! Have a lovely week and Happy New Year, hugs Heather xx #30

Angela, you DO have a FULL desk! That means you are being VERY creative as opposed to some of us! LOL I have kind of exhaled at the moment, but like you, I have already thought of ideas for next Christmas. I have to get on it right away though, or I will throw it to the side because life gets in the way, as it does! LOL I really hope to get a jump on it and have it done way before next Christmas! We shall see! LOL Happy New Year and stay safe! Felicia, #31

Great marbled background - I haven't tried that yet! Wishing you a wonderful new year Angela. It will be weird that you can't go skiing like you always do. I will miss your "hotel room" workdesk and your snowscapes! Happy 2021! xx zsuzsa #24

Sorry to hear you are missing your skiing trip this year. I believe the Sierra Nevada ski resorts are open but obviously only for Spanish residents and possibly Andalucians. Wishing you a Happy New Year. Ani

You always have such an interesting desk, Angela, and you're correct that I'm goggle-eyed to see it somewhat 'messy'...ha! Thanks for helping me to feel a little less alone in my chaos. ;-)

Well happy New year Angela, I don't know about you being late on parade I am positively tardy!! Apologies - just you know, life and stuff! I love that 'making a box' entails 'all this mess'. My desk only ever seems to be tidied when I'm not doing anything at all, I seem incapable of using one thing at a time. We also will not be away in February - last year was the first we tried a long break and it was FAB (although we very nearly got stuck there!!). Will probably be the first time for many years we have spent the whole winter in the UK. Not happy, but no desire to be abroad with restrictions so we will just have to lump it. See you soon!! Stay well, stay safe, Cindy #15
