WOYWW - 602- What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Finished my Christmas cards at last...well I hope so Lol!

Working on the dragon box again so you can see my Hot Glue gun at the ready.

On the left is a box of beads and cogs that I'm using with the dragon box.
Some Sizzix dies that I got from their sale.
Tim Holtz Snarky Cat stamps and the exploding box is still tidy! The little white box holds some beads, brads and sequins.
Towards the back is one of the Card-io style cards that I've been making.

Not really got too far with the dragon box but hopefully by next week I should have the first layer of paint on.
It looks pretty messy at the moment but I can assure you it will look a lot different soon.....very different in fact!
There are a few pebbles at the back there but not had time to play with those either.

And the dies that I got from Sizzix, some of them were in their reduced sale so just had to have them....naughty girl lol!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

What a lot of lovely dies! I always forget about that sale. Your dragon box is coming along nicely and I bet it will be stunning when you are finished. I'm sure we will get to see it on a WOYWW day. Best part of the weekly visits - see complex or time-consuming projects progress over time.

Happy too close to Christmas WOYWW!

The Sissix dies might have been a splurge but they’re such handy designs, I bet you’ll use them all the time for future projects. And wow, that dragons box is going to be amazing, can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I love your cardio card, and what a great selection of dies in the sale - I reckon you'll get a lot of use out of those, I especially like the set of four leaves - I haven't seen them before. The box is looking exciting and I can't wait to see the next stage.
Hope you have a great week,
Diana xx #22

I love the card-io style too. CAS isn't my usual style but I find their stamps help. Your photos are a joy to expand & have a good old mooch round your Workdesk. I'm so nosey 😉 Hugs from Melton. xx

Well, you can never have enough dies, so who can blame you? That looks like an industrial strength glue gun. I've just go the Sizzix one but I wrapped it up for Christmas. It took all my self control not to open it! That dragon box will look amazing with all the paint and gilding on - I can already see in my mind's eye! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #27

I think the Sizzix die with the holly leaf on a decent length stem will be very useful. I didn’t visit the sale this time around, but like you, have found some really useful bargain dies that I use a lot. I know it will look very different, but I think the dragon box is already looking very interesting..I suspect you’ll while away quite some time on this...without even noticing! a bit jealous of the control going on in the exploding box section too!

Hi Angela! What a tidy desk and a great die haul - I am intrigued by that leaf one that doesn't seem to have an edge - may have to check that out! The other foliage one looks really useful as well. Looking forward to seeing the finished dragon box. Have a good week, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #26

Ooooo some yummy dies there. Love the 9 dies foliage one.
Dragon box looks brilliant even now. My Son would love one of those methinks. Maybe I'll have to think about making one for him. I'll be interested to see how it's done over your next posts.
Merry Christmas if either of us are not around/forget next week BJ #25

As always, so many interesting projects on the go. Love it that you've finished your cards (hopefully) on Dec. 16th...I'm not the only one, I see. :D Happy week, Angela, and here's to dragon creation!

You've got some lovely new stash to play with there, Angela, and that dragon box is looking incredible! Things like this always look a bit strange when you first stick stuff on, but once the gesso and paint starts to go on they always come together beautifully. I can't wait to see how this one is going to turn out.

Thank you for your visit, and I smiled when I saw that you (quite rightly) assumed that the new blanket, intended for my hubby, is really the property of the kitties!! How did you guess?! I agree with you about the names of things being different in different parts of this country - it can cause quite a bit of amusement, as well as confusion. Not to mention dialect words!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Oh you'll enjoy the dies, I did some online shopping and added unexpected crafty supplies !!! Good feelings to have cards done and in the mail. HERE mail is going thru BIG issues. TOO MUCH can't keep up. Well they want all part time help and revamp in stupid ways so it's to be expected ! RANT OVER !
I am keeping my winter crafty stuff out and will work on projects for next year. Seems I will be having HOME time extended. Our area is a mess with Covid, so being safe. Have a good weekend.

Hi Angela! Thanks for your visit to mine! When I first went to your blog I saw Maisie and Stan sleeping under the tree - SO cute!! I can see your box is coming along nicely, looking forward to seeing it finished. I hope I get the Snarky cats for Christmas, although no one knows I want them, I may have to buy them for myself! Enjoy your Christmas with hubby and Maisie and Stan! Have a lovely week! Lindart #33
