WOYWW - 606 - Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain. We love to see any desks old or new all are welcome.

So here is my desk for today!

I know some of you wondered what was unusual about the cuckoo clock last week and it was that when I photographed it the swinging pendulum gained an extra piece so that it looked as though there were two instead of one. Not very exciting really!
You can just about see the same effect today.

I'm trying to get my Mojo moving again so been watching Tracy Evans and as I have several unused sketch books I thought it was time to get them dirty but that's as far as I've got but I'll let you know what happens next week.

Got some new dies too which might appear somewhere along the process. To the right of those is a new Masterboard that I'm playing with and towards the back is a large tag covered in AALL and Create stamping.

This set looks interesting too.

I have to apologise for still not doing anything with the new mould which is still sitting on the side of the desk. I've not used resin before and realised when I looked at the instructions that it's better to keep it somewhere warm and I'd had it in the cabin so I've brought it in and giving it time to adapt to the temperature but still not overly confident so been watching some Youtube too but think I will just have to get on with it. Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I think we are all struggling with creativity at the mo. I can do the 'this is the pattern, making it like this' jobs but if I have to be creative it's far from easy. I love what you've been busy with though so keep up the good work my friend.

Hello Angela, nor done any resin yet, so can’t help there. It’s not like you to be worried about a new craft. You are the first person I think of if I am having problems. In fact you can be my personal Art tutor! Love your new stamps. Have seen the results of several of Tracey’s workshops, very tempting. Have a great week Angela #10

I do love that zesty green and the mid grey together, such a great combo of colours! I am struggling to get my sewing mojo going as well which is daft considering the JanCave is back in action, hoping that inspiration will strike quite soon.

Hello Angela!! Been in a bit of a slump myself but always bits to do in the craft room even if it's just tidying up. Starting to feel the urge to do something though. When I've finished with WOYWW today think I am going to look at what Tracey's got available - I know she's done some pre-recorded videos that look interesting. A nice bit of enabling going on there - particularly that die set which looks intriguing! Good luck with the resin, I do have some (probably useless by now I've had it so long). Unfortunately I always put off doing anything that requires instruction!! I think you should just have a go, even if you 'DIB' it to quote Jan. Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy #14 xx

Wow, your new stash looks very interesting and rather 'different' - will definitely be visiting Alt & New to have a browse around. You've now got me wondering - I have resin products up in the studio, in a room that is freezing in winter and boiling in summer as it's a loft conversion from many years ago. I wonder if I should move them - better look into that.
Hope you have a good week and stay safe and well,
Diana xx #25

I love new stash, and that (is it roses?) die would also make a lovely stencil when cut. The rather mesh-y Altenew die looks a lot like one I got from Wish - a bit like plasterboard tape. My mojo is not to bad today but I think t is only cause I am hiding in my craft room away from the TV for a bit. The US news is stressful. I'm not sure I will make it thru the next 7 days with my sanity intact!

Happy WOYWW, with a late start

Hi Angela. Lots of lovely new goodies on your desk today. I do hope your mojo appears so you can play with it all. I reckon we are all struggling a bit at the moment. Seems like we have been going round in circles for the past 10 months - instead of moving forwards. But take heart - the end will come. There is hope.
Take care. God bless.

I can relate with the lack of mojo. Looking forward to what you do with the dies and resin stuff.
Have a great week!

I hope you take the plunge with the resin, I've never tried it either. Not got a lot of room for messy crafts (I really wanted to do some Powertex at Christmas when I had so much time, but couldn't work out where to spread out to do it...the hallway came to mind but it's too cold!) Take care and stay safe. Helen #4

Angela, I'd say your mojo is starting off pretty good. I love that page just as it is. put some emphemera, a sentiment and call it a day!! That green color is gorge!! I love ALTENEW goodies. I don't have any, but love seeing with people are creating out of their goodies!! You will get to the mould when the time is right! Then you won't be able to contain your creativity! Can't wait to see it when it's done! :) You stay safe and healthy! Felicia #33

Hi Angela, I'm sure your mojo will return wih all your lovely goodies to play with. The first journal page looks a pretty good start to me. I can't help you with the resin - wouldn't know where to start. Thanks for visiting me - I know I'm biased, but I think my daughter is lovely too, both of them of course - but I was touched when I read the inscription. Thanks for the kind words on my blanket and my journal. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #18

Great start with the sketch book Angela and you can't go far wrong with Tracy Evans for motivation and inspiration x. Those Altenew dies look fabulous. I have resin in my craft room but it's of course not been used!....x.

Oh those dies look great, I'm getting an enabling feeling......
Super green and grey piece so far, love the circle "stencil" I assume. In my sorting I dusted off my Dylusion sprays and thought I ought to have another go soon.
Thanks for the visit BJ#6

The start of your new page is absolutely gorgeous, Angela! I love the colours and the design. Beautiful. I hope your experiments with the resin are successful. It's not something I have any experience with. Thank you for visiting - we were rather amused at the state of the parcel, and I was very relieved that all the wool cones arrived OK! So glad you like my rainbow jumper - I think it's my favourite thick winter woolly! You are right about the kitties keeping me warm. They do weigh a lot on my legs!

Happy WOYWW,

Those abstract dies look useful Angela. Look forward to seeing how your background pregresses. Hope the resin works for you once it's acclimatised. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Hi Angela, love that page you've started in your sketchbook, fantastic combo of colours and shapes. You've got some very temptacious goodies on your desk as always. I'm keen to see how how you get on with the resin, I have some to play with too, but also hesitating to take the plunge :) Have a great week. Annie C #34

I think we a re all struggling to be creative just now. My twiddlemitts don't require much thought - I just do whatever comes into my head with the yarns I have to hand. It keeps me out of mischief!!! xx Jo

As always, your desk is SO interesting, and I have, again, some serious stash envy. I can hardly wait to see where these all go - I've no doubt it's going to be a beautiful one!

Oooh, that last die you show is interesting indeed, I LOVE circles! I hope you find your mojo back this weekend, it's just the weather for it (they predict snow in Holland...) Sorry for being late (the deskers-list is long and I visit a few per day) Have a great weekend, stay healthy and safe! Love from the Netherlands, Marit #31

Hi Angela! thanks for your visit! I love the cabin, and it's nice that it has heat, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't trek outside in the cold and snow to get to it. But you never know, thinking about it now, it would be an awesome little place to be, all alone, with just craftiness around you. And, since I hate trekking through the snow, I would probably be in there longer! LOL! Happy crafting! Lindart #35

Hi Angela, it doesn’t matter what yarn or thread you use in Dorset buttons as long as it fits through your size of ring. Also I think about washing, eg I wouldn’t use silk on a cotton shirt. Lx
