WOYWW - 618 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Now this might have come as a surprise! the desk is all tidy today as I have just finished the Shadow Box which you can see on the left there.
I have done a tutorial for this which will appear soon.

  • Other than that I still have my Gessos, black and white on the left next to the exploding box which also looks as though it needs some sorting.
  • At the back is my spray bottle and water jar, a small bowl that holds one of my moulded dragons and next to it two jars of Gel paste, thin and heavy and a container which holds a variety of glue and half used tissue and the new blending brushes.
  • The blue box has all my paint brushes, rulers, scissors, general tools that I use every day.
  • In front of that are my wet tissues
So that's me done, there isn't much going on today as I'm having a little rest after the Shadow Box which I enjoyed making but was very time consuming. It wasn't so much the construction as thinking about the way to develop it.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Oh wow! That is spectacular - although I doubt even with a tutorial I would manage it, your attention to detail is admirable. I am more the "fling it and see if it sticks" kinda gal! Glad there is room for both styles in WOYWW. Time consuming sounds like an understatement, my dear. Glad you enjoyed it and hope you enjoy your little rest - I know you will be on to the next project all too soon. THAT is something all us deskers share!
Happy WOYWW day!

I am so looking forward to seeing the shadow box in more detail and it will be lovely to have the method you used and all your thinking behind the actual design there for us to see.
I had to smile at you being exhausted after making it, I take out a project I have not finished yet and put it back because I feel exhausted just thinking about the next steps. That's why it never gets finished.

Hi,
I had go and look up shadow boxes. What an interesting idea! I’m so looking forward to seeing yours. At first glance it seemed to be the I Ching with a yin and yang in the middle, but maybe not.
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

You have earned a short break after that project Angela. My mojo is not around at the moment so taking more of an enforced rest apart from my daily drawings which I am determined to keep up. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

Hi Angela. A busy week - all tidied up as well... mine might be tidy, but not because I have been busy - just not gone to that desk at all!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Angela! Well deserved break I think, a time to renew, and then start a new project! Are Herons dangerous? We have some on the way into town, as we go over a marshy area, I always love to see them! Thanks for your visit, have a great week and stay safe! Lindart #28

oooh YAY for having finished it and I think that is really smart to have everything picked up for when you are ready to do the next adventure. I really need to clean some more here too I am thinking looking around :) ~Stacy #26

What a tidy desk, Angela. I am really looking forward to seeing your shadow box, which sounds really interesting. Thank you for your visit - so glad you enjoyed my shark carrot! I had great fun adding his features! The kitty faces are now making their way onto the squares, and today I finished adding them to the first strip of squares that I joined together a few weeks ago, and they are looking good. It's a bit frustrating having to wait for my hubby to be out of the way but the project has become a lot less generic lately and he's sure to notice all those kitties emerging! The real kitties do love life, and so they should, given how pampered they are!

Happy WOYWW,

Yes please, a tutorial would be brilliant...I'm colllecting stuff to make into other stuff, but have no idea where'd I start! On the top shelf is that more? One with a cat? and one with a bug or a spider? Well done on the tidy desk, that won't stay like that for long! Stay safe! Keep crafting! Happy WOYWW?! ((Lyn)) #13

Gosh Angela, for a minute there I was going to be jealous and slightly mystified, I thought you had tidied because you may be off on holiday! I don’t think the exploding box looks too bad at all, you must have hit on ‘good placement of scraps’ to make it look tamed!

The clock is so awesome! I can't imagine making something like that from my own brain! Belated visit but still, stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #9

All looking very organised. I always find it very satisfying to have a thorough tidy up before starting a new project. Unfortunately after about 10 minutes of crafting it looks like a disaster zone again! Hope you have a lovely week xx
