Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Pretty much the same as usual really, walking dogs obviously! food shopping, housework, gardening, crafting....definitely but we did go to the fish farm for some fish food etc. which made a nice change and I saw some beautiful new fish there, so may well be going back again but we'll see.

These are supposed to be Easter Cacti but obviously they don't know they are a bit late but pretty all the same.
I keep these in the front entrance porch all year round and they actually seem to enjoy the cold during the winter as much as the heat of summer and do really well.

This one is amazing.

Sadly only three cygnets now. No idea where the other two went. But these three are doing well and growing fast.

I had a visitor while I was taking the photograph maybe she thought I had something for her.

The fields on our way to mum's are brighter than ever.

The whole of this area is covered in yellow.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

I think your Easter cacti are beautiful but like the rest of us are thinking it’s too cold yet so it must be Easter lol. Shame about the loss of the two cygnets but guess that’s just nature. Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Annie x

Those fish are so colourful. I would definitely be tempted.
The Easter cacti are wonderful. Apparently they don't like to be moved so maybe that is why yours are doing so well.
Sad about the cygnets, but I hope the remaining three do well.
I presume all the yellow is rape. I loved seeing all the yellow fields when I was over. I read a warning this week that you shouldn't walk your dogs anywhere near a rape field because the oil is very toxic to them. I didn't know that. Hope you enjoy your weekend, and have some sunshine this week. Kate x

Your Easter cacti are stunning. I have one too but it is not doing well at all. It has gone purple, which means it's in distress. I have moved it to a hopefully better place last month and I hope it will do better.
You and your koi! I can see you buy even more fish soon. Is your pond big enough for more fish? They are beautiful though aren't they.
I'm sorry about the disappearing cygnets. Perhaps there are rats in the water. They eat chicks, ducklings etc.
The yellow fields are amazing. (typically with rain on the windscreen). I hope your mum's ok.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

I am sorry I'm so late visiting. I couldn't leave a comment earlier. I think Blogger hates me.

Sounds like you might be adding another fish or two to your already beautifully stocked pond. Sad that two of the cygnets are no longer around. I sure like your Easter cacti. They are both beautiful. Mine died after a year or so, which is odd, since it's hard to kill a cactus.

Inquiring minds want to know what the yellow is in the fields. I hope you have a great weekend. Now if this will just publish, I'll be very happy.

Your cactus sure is looking really pretty,.

Swans always seem to lose some of their young and think that's why they have to many, The duck just wanted her picture taken lol

Those fields are really lovely with all the rape flower,

Take care and stay safe,

Such a beautiful area in which you live, Angela - those fields are gorgeous and must make the trip to your mom's a delight. Colour extraordinaire. Love the fish, too, so hope you make it back to the fish farm! ;-)

Cacti are looking splendid and the garish yellow fields would be a fantastic reference photo for an abstract ladscape painting!
