Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.Work is still going on in the park.
But there's lots of tidying up going on too and most of the big machinery has gone now.
The cygnets are growing fast and mum and dad are being kept busy.
I've put an extra fountain in the pond to create more oxygen due to all this warm weather we've been having though you will see some changes to the pond next week as we've been adding a new filter box too.
This is the back of our garden as seen over the fence.
Over on the right they are supposed to be building new houses and had cleared this land but as you can see there is nothing but weeds again so who knows.
Some of my beautiful white lilac. We have several of these now but they all came from one plant that used to be in my Grandfather's garden which we moved when he died taking it to Wigan for eleven years and then here in Lincoln since 1988.
More flowering plants.
My hubbies favourites.
And of course I cannot leave you without a funny.
Have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by.
And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.Angela x

Nice platform for viewing the lake in the park. I assume that it is available for wheel-chair users.
I like the floating fountain. I am hoping to get one soon.
I love the white lilac. I bought a small cutting from our WI stand in the market in Oswestry, and it grew very successfully. I didn't know it would be white until the first flowers came!
The dog rules could apply to us too couldn't they.
Hope you have a good weekend and week. Kate x
Oh your last funny totally cracked me up Angela, I’m gross! You’re clever to put in a new fountain ..now popping over to WOYWW!
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

I was surprised to see the row of houses next to the park. It looks like they will soon have it ready for people to enjoy again. I see that guy is still working in the water, but the railing seems to be going up nicely now.
Your flowers are beautiful. I love the white lilac. I've only seen the lavender ones, so that was something different.
Nice new fountain. I also like the Buddha statue at the end of the fish pond. I noticed there were no fish in the photo, so I hope they are OK.
Enjoyed the funnies, but that last one was scary. Hope you have a great Friday and rest of the weekend, too.
Thanks for the update with the park...it sure is coming along. Such pretty 'flower' photos and great memories for you with the white lilac Angela x. Have a creative weekend x.
Great to see the progress of the work in the park. The viewing platform looks really nice. I'm glad the swans and their brood are doing ok.
A fountain is useful to oxygenate the water, but it is also fun to look at and listen to.
The flowers in your garden are beautiful. I particularly like the lilac. I had one in my garden to commemorate my dad, as it was his favorite plant. But we had to leave it behind when we moved to Spain and I never replaced it. (Note to self: find out if lilacs will grow in this climate).
I giggled at your funnies, and to be honest, the first one applies to humans too, but dogs are much better at it....
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
I’m sorry I’m so late in visiting this week. We are on a really lovely campsite in the Lake District but it has taken us til now to set up the Internet....and I’m not sure how long it will last.
The park is looking good and your funnies are brilliant.
Hugs,
Annie x
I like the platform over the lake, and your garden is looking fab! love the lilac.. Have a great weekend
Wow i could not imagine putting in a fountain. Love your post and will follow your posts <3 ps, what gorgeous duck pics xxxx
I’m still chuckling at the dog funnies as I’m typing Angela. A few of my friends would go along with them.
Fingers crossed nothing comes of the threatened house building and you can continue to see open space.
The park is coming on nicely. We live overlooking a nature reserve and it’s a lovely place to walk round
Have a good week
Lynn xx

It's such a pleasure to see that park near finished, and I'm sure you must feel the same way. Your garden is truly lovely, and it's wonderful that you've carried your grandfather's lilac with you during your moves. It's stunning and I can just about smell it from here (our lilacs are long since finished and I always miss them when they disappear from the town strolls). Those funnies are a hoot - just can't beat dogs for creating fun, and you for finding it!
