Friday Fun Day with smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

If you've been around recently you will remember this tree that was trimmed. This was the last photograph I showed you and.....

today it looks like this.
Growing nicely!

We found this chap in the park the other day and though he's obviously not very lively it's so rare to see them that I thought I would photograph him.
You can see why they are so good at digging, just look at those claws.

Back to the building work behind the fence.

This was the beginning of the week.

They had started moving even more trees and stuff.
but I was not expecting the next part.

They had dumped the shavings and branches just the other side of the fence so I don't think our foxy friends will be around for a while.

I think we need a smile after that so here goes.

Somebody knows dogs well I think!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 647 - What's On you Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I am still working on the Christmas cards though not much done so far this week and then these parcels arrived.

It was really sunny when I took these photographs so sorry if there's a slight glare.

I did get round to using some of my Wax seal stamps.

Now I can't leave you wondering what's in those boxes as that would be very unkind so here goes.

This is from Hobbilicious, if you don't know this company you really need to have a look.
They sell lots of MDF kits but other great crafty stuff too.

This project is called the Gothika Manor.
I'll let you see this again once I get started.

The next kit is from The Creative Craft Academy.
I am rather in love with the packaging and will have to find some use for that.

The kit is a cabinet with all the pieces to complete it.

This kit is full of delight!

Gorgeous 8" x 8" papers to decorate the inside of the cabinet but way more than you will use with this project.

Beautiful metal pieces too.

Collection of bottles, labels, stencil and loads of other stuff too.

The only problem now is where to start.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these Masterboard die cuts:

I showed you this last week and this week I'll show you how I've used them.

I have had another little play with the stamps as I needed another background.

And this is how I used them.

I love this Altenew stamp and die set and used Tim Holtz Oxide inks to colour them and colour the edges too.
I finished the design with a Christmas sentiment, gold cord, die cut snowflakes and Stickles Glitter Glue.

Some snowflakes added to the inside.

I so love the style of these cards and hope you do too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The Hydrangeas are looking lovely as they dry up for the winter.

The Bonsai are looking nice too, especially this beautiful Acer (Maple).

Stan found some where cosy to have a snooze! It certainly is a dog's life here!

His eyes look open but they were rolling as though he was dreaming.

And Maisie too.

Look at that sweet little nose.

Another of her favourite positions.

The builders continue to clear the land behind us.

This should give you an idea of how far away the work is taking place as I am looking over the fence at the moment though I have to climb up on several bricks to see over it.
There is a story here as we used to have a Bearded Collie and we couldn't keep him in the garden as he used to clear the old fence we had so we had to remove it and put this one up which is about six foot high.
He used to go up to the fence size it up, walk backwards and then make a run at it and if he couldn't clear it he would dig underneath it.
It actually cost us more to put the fencing up than it did to buy him but he was worth it.
Actually you can see a photograph of him on the right hand side bar.

And the next photographs were earlier in the week.

One of the foxes looking for his evening meal.
As you can see he knows I'm there but doesn't seem that bothered.

They look really healthy, beautiful coat.

A little sniff round the undergrowth.

I love watching them.

This gives a better idea of the distance I am from them.
I hope you've enjoyed seeing out friends as I am not sure they will be around for much longer as the builders get for ever closer and have chopped down some of the wooded area here and all the noise the workmen are making too, so we'll see.
Of course I can't go without a few funnies:

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

WOYWW - 646 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

It looks quiet today but it's just waiting for me to get back to making some more Christmas cards. I've made about sixteen now.

There's a few dies here that I might add to the next project and some lovely metallic threads that I picked up years ago at a craft show, really love adding that to my cards.
The little boxes stacked up are holding the die cut pieces that I am planning to use at my crafting day.

There's a mixture of papers from magazines and a pack that I bought ages ago. The tub on the right has some washi tape waiting for a new home and some old clothing tags that I've been altering as they make nice pieces to layer on the cards.

I did finish a card which you can see here although I know that some of you popped over on Monday and have seen it already.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

Masterboard Monday - Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Yes I am back with my own stuff!

You may remember this from some time ago (here and here) but there's always that bit that's left over and you just can't throw it away so now's the time to use it up so here goes.

Snip a bit here and snip a bit there!

And before you know it half a card started!
I'm sure you've seen these recently, they are called Triple Point Cards or Crossover Point Card.
I made this using a 6" x 6" card blank.
There are lots of instructions for these on line if you're interested in making one though it's probably obvious from this photograph how it's done.

To complete this card I've added a die cut Poinsettia cut from the Masterboard, stamped sentiments, die cut snowflakes, some metallic cord and Stickles Glitter glue.

I attached some of the snowflakes inside the card so that they could be seen when the card is closed.

Hope you like this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
If you did you might want to pop back next Monday when I will be using this up too.
Same Altenew stamp but this time in red.

But that's for another day.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
