Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Looks like Daisy is finding herself!

We obviously have a digger!

She did not appreciate being told off!

Look at that mess.

All clean again but can't promise how long it will last.

She is not impressed that we have fenced off some of her favourite digging patches either!

Did my class at the Craft Club Saturday.

Originally a Diamond Z card but the ladies had fun doing them with other shapes too.

I had intended showing you this before but better late than never.

All gone now but it was lovely to see so many people leaving flowers and messages.

Not really funnies today just happy thoughts to finish.

I will be on my way to Shrewsbury some time today so saorry if I'm late getting to you and may hgave to visit you later.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 695 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Still in the cabin.

Applying papers to the back and front.
Paste the surface first with Gel medium.

Place the paper over the top and smooth it down until stuck.

Take a file.

Push downwards along the edge and the paper will gradually fall away.

This is my prefered method as it's much easier than trying to cut it to shape and it leaves a lovely neat edge.

Just having a look at how these will go on.

Lots of lovely MDF shapes and resin pieces to play with.

Just getting some ideas.
I photograph them if I find a layout I like as I will forget it once I take them off.

And it's Black Gesso next.

More to follow soon and earlier instructions can be found here:

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Here are a couple of larger photographs which I hope will show them better.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I seem to have got behind with stuff as I think there may have been some distraction recently so I'm on catch up but we did have a day out at the seaside last week and called in at the hotel where we used to take my parents. It's not changed very much and I'm pleased to say it was full. I think there are lots of retired people taking their holiday when the children are back at school.

I had to show you this one!
Poor Stan what he has to put up with, he's so understanding.

And after her rest Daisy can't wait to join me in the cabin though I don't think she will ever make a crafter as she prefers to chew the paper and card though maybe she will become a Grungy crafter because that's how the card looks when she's finished with it Lol!

I have a few more photos from the Steampunk festival too. It seems ages ago now but I'll show them to you anyway.

Lots more shopping, though I didn't buy anything.
Too bust taking the photos I think.

Though the hats were very tempting.
I think hat are something you either love or hate.

There were some amazing costumes again.

And it's pretty obvious they were having a good time standing outside the Magna Carta which is a public house not far from the Castle.
Lincoln Castle still has an original copy of the Magna Carta of which there are only four left in the country.

It's not just the ladies that like to dress up but the gentlemen too.

And there are a few crazy outfits that surprise me every year.

I think everyone likes having their photo taken though I always ask politely first.
I guess if you dress up and np one wants a photo you might feel a bit disappointed.

I am so loving this dress.

And that's it more or less though I have loads more.

I've added this on, though it's difficult to place it here because of it's length but this is the old asylum as was and which gave the festival it's name.
You can see just how many people attend too.

I think that might be enough for this week so I'm going to leave you with just some Schnauzer Smiles.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
