Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I seem to have got behind with stuff as I think there may have been some distraction recently so I'm on catch up but we did have a day out at the seaside last week and called in at the hotel where we used to take my parents. It's not changed very much and I'm pleased to say it was full. I think there are lots of retired people taking their holiday when the children are back at school.
I had to show you this one!
Poor Stan what he has to put up with, he's so understanding.
And after her rest Daisy can't wait to join me in the cabin though I don't think she will ever make a crafter as she prefers to chew the paper and card though maybe she will become a Grungy crafter because that's how the card looks when she's finished with it Lol!
I have a few more photos from the Steampunk festival too. It seems ages ago now but I'll show them to you anyway.
Though the hats were very tempting.
I think hat are something you either love or hate.
There were some amazing costumes again.
And it's pretty obvious they were having a good time standing outside the Magna Carta which is a public house not far from the Castle.
Lincoln Castle still has an original copy of the Magna Carta of which there are only four left in the country.
It's not just the ladies that like to dress up but the gentlemen too.
I am so loving this dress.
And that's it more or less though I have loads more.
I've added this on, though it's difficult to place it here because of it's length but this is the old asylum as was and which gave the festival it's name.
You can see just how many people attend too.
I think that might be enough for this week so I'm going to leave you with just some Schnauzer Smiles.
Have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by.
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.

I am SO sorry I missed you last week. I wanted to get a jump on today,so I'm not playing catch up.
Poor Stan puts up with a lot. It's good they get along so well together. Wish my two did.
LOVE all those Steampunk clothes. The hats are great to look at, but I'm not much of a hat person. The dresses are amazing. Such creativity. So glad you are sharing more of these. I could look at Steampunk all day long.
Ah, cute funnies. Sounds like you're a Schnauzer fan (grin)! Have a super Friday and rest of the weekend, dear Angela.
I needed a second look to sort out the two dogs, but they look very cute together. When Kim was a new pup he often came to my craft room but he doesn't any more. He prefers to lay in Chris' office in front of his floor fan! I do often have a cat in here though.
I am not a hat lover. I have a very short neck and hats do not sit comfortably with me. The brim hits my shoulders and knocks it off. (Also I had to wear one to church as a child and that probably put me off for life!)
The costumes are amazing. No wonder their wearers are happy to pose for a camera.
Have a good week. Kate x
I love seeing all those steampunk costumes! Amazing works of art really, don't you think? Yes, that last dress was really something. Very beautiful.
I love hats and I would have been sorely tempted to buy one, but then when would I wear it?
What a cute phot of the two dogs cuddling together.
And I had to smile at your schnauzer funnies.
Have a lovely weekend,
Keep smiling,
Hugs,
Lisca
Hi Angela, your photos are wonderful, I loved seing the glimpse of the cathedral in the background.I visited the castle archives when I was a student - nice memories! Happy Friday, hugs, Valerie
I've had a really busy day taking the zips out of a bin cask full of factory again....not a job I really enjoy but it pays the bills. I've now put them back in the bag ready to start fresh on Monday morning to put all the new zips in nd have set my sewing room up ready for Nanny Annie's sewing school tomorrow because the two eldest want and afternoon of sewing with me....I'm so lucky....there may be photos next Friday [if I remember to take some].
I love the steampunk outfits...some folk put in so much effort.
Hugs,
Annie x
Your dogs sure care for each other!
And all the costumes, very cool. The hats.
Ans also the last Schnauzer made me smile big, thank you!
Poor old Stan, he must be very patient lol. I think I may have to visit the Steampunk festival next year - it really looks like a great day out! Take care and have a very happy weekend, Sue xx
