Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another new Masterboard:

All finished and ready to go.

Instructions for making as follows:
Start here:

And you're ready to start.
You could put tape round the outside edge too though I haven't tried that yet.

I scribbled on some pencil lines and then added colour both Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Oxides with a blending tool.

Spray it with some drops of water and dab it with some spare card.

Which will give you this lovely patterned card and some washed out spots.
I'm sure we'll find a use for the mop up card.

Next some detail with a stencil and white ink to tone it down.

Perfect or what?
Well I like it Hee! Hee!

A close up also shows the black splashes added and the scribbled lines were used as a guide to adding white free hand details.

And we're back to the finished Masterboard.
You need to remove the Washi tape gently. Pull it towards you keeping it flat with itself do not try to remove it by pulling upwards. This will more or less prevent it pulling any of the surface off the card.....more or less that is!

Cards to follow next week.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Now what do you suppose is going on here!

There you go it's Alfie looking for Daisy.

She's been to the vet's for spaying and some little dewclaws removed from her back feet.

And now she's resting but Alfie is missing her and wants to know what's going on.

She certainly is comfortable.

While Daisy was resting I was busy gardening.
I picked the carrots above. The two top ones were very friendly to each other!

This was interesting.
Two mole hills had been removed and the holes were open. We can't be sure but we think it might have been the fox that did it.

We had so much rain that the pond had filled right up to the top. Never seen it so full.

So rather than wait for more rain we decided to let some water out.

Better to do this than risk the fish ending up on the garden.
It's a nightmare I had for a long time after driving past a garden years ago where there was flooding and their koi were swimming round the garden. That is scary!

I've been doing some trimming of plants too and planting some more salad stuff while it was dry. My cauliflowers are doing well too and when it was wet I was indoors doing some crafting which you can see on the Monday post here:

We did go to see my mum but she hadn't slept very well and was tired so we didn't stay very long. We had a message from  the British Heart Foundation to say they had sold some of the things we gave them from my mum's and had made £750.00 so far which we thought was pretty good.

But that's about it for today so I'll leave you with some funnies.

I wonder could this be true!

Typical dog thing.

I showed these to Daisy....she was not impressed!

Luckily we've not had to use the cone on Daisy. She had no interest in the Spaying stitches just the Dewclaw bandages.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 738 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm here again with another new Masterboard.
I seem to have got some of my creativity back.
The stencil hung up is by Kate Crane and I used this on the Masterboard.
Everything else is just as usual, glue, pens, Huggies (very important craft equipment!) blending tools and the exploding boxes are actually looking tidy!

Not quite finished yet. A little way to go and then I'll post the details.

These are some of the cards I made using last week's Masterboard and there are details relating to these and more pics on the Monday post here:

Just wanted to say if anyone wishes to use the techniques that I show you here you are very welcome. If I have found them used by other artist crafters I will tell you otherwise they are my own ideas though as we all know there are very few new ideas Lol!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a collection of cards made with this Masterboard as promised last week.

I have details about making this Masterboard which can be found here:

Cut out the sections and you have lots of focal images to layer onto your cards.
I've just used three here today.

You are left with a white border so all that's needed is to layer it on a piece of black card, I then layered it again on white card.

I can't resist stamping on the card blank and this one was done with a Tim Holts Distress ink.

And this one with black ink also using the second generation print too. I love this technique as it gives more depth to the imagers.
The sentiments are stamps by Cabarelle.

These were the stamps I used and yes they are wood mounted and very old.

And what a collection.
If you need some fast cards then this is the one for you.
Better than that I've scanned the original and kept it for later, might even change the colours on the copied pieces.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This was Saturday at the Doncaster Racecourse.

It was a very busy craft show.
Great turn out.

When you get fed up or tired it's quite nice to go outside for some fresh air which looks out at the racecourse.

A few other people had the same idea.
It had rained at some time but the sun had come out again.

Back indoors, Create and Craft were filming.

Not sure what they were selling.

This was the Make and Take section where some of the companies were offering you a chance to use some of their products.

I love these Card-io samples they are great stamps too.

Someone noticed me taking a photo!

Not sure if I've shown you these two before.

This one looks like a rather large Decoupage.

Now it wasn't difficult to find you something funny today and I'm sure this will make you smile.

My hubby took this photo while he was in the car park waiting for me to come back to the car.

If this doesn't make you smile I don't know what will Lol!
It appears that he was having to peer through the plastic to see where he was going.

If you know this man just let him know, he made my day and I hope he got back to his car okay.

Now I think that's enough for today.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
