woyww - 768 - What's On You Workdesk Wednesdasy.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm looking for a sentiment for this card I'm making.
I hate it when you know it's there somewhere but it just can't be found but Ill make sure you see it when it's completed.

There's some old wood mounted stamps on the right near the scissors which I might use but everything else is about the same as last week.

I have decided this year will be use it or lose it ... again!
but it's got to be done.

I've been working on part of a Masterboard and hope to finish it soon and that's it really.
I did finish another card using this Masterboard which I posted on Monday.
If you're interested the instructions are there too for making the Masterboard.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
Angela x

I hope you find the sentiment you are looking for - how frustrating. I have been making collage papers this week, inspired by your post a few weeks ago - it's been fun, and also relaxing - it's nice not having expectations for a finished end piece! Thanks for that, I always feel inspired visiting your desk!
Hope you have a great week,

Argh, sentiment hunting..I know your frustration! So where do you keep your wood mounted stamps then? also nice to see a bundle on the table. I made a few cards a couple of weeks ago using wood mounts and there's no escaping the difference in quality and crispness of image...I still love 'em! That masterboard looks great; as you say, because I'm tied up elsewhere, my desk is really calling me...but I can't stay up late, by the time we've had supper I'm done for!!

Do you scan your masterboards to reuse them? I've started doing that, even with my messy underpapers, and I just find I use them over and over again. Your MBs are always so lovely it would be a fab resource.
Happy WOYWW!

My Hubby and I think losing, misplacing stuff comes from age but you are too young for that....LOVE that beautiful card. And some great masterboards.
They are fun to do. AND I need to get busy with a few. Enjoy a great week.

Great stamps on the masterboard there! Out of my desk shot today I have a basket of stamps that need filing into the new stamp folders I bought several years ago. I'm hoping this will prevent some of the frustration like you are feeling about the sentiments when you just can't lay your hands on it! Lisa-Jane #9 https://www.prettymypage.co.uk/woyww-768/

When I tried that technique I used just a few large blobs of colour and didn’t quite get the same effect. I shall try putting lots of small blobs next time I do it. I think I did horizontal movements as well as vertical with the brayer, that’s probably why the colours over mixed. Try and try again! Happy WOYWW. Angela #14

Yes, I must do use it or lose it again, hard but necessary! Hugs!

Hope you find your sentiment soon. And don't tell me about the 60's going quickly, I'm just gobsmacked I'm actually at 60 now! I won't let anyone dull my sparkle though. (that's a good sentiment) Hugs BJ#12

If you mean use it or lose it with stamps or dies then I would be pruning large amounts of my supplies Angela. I can agree with paints/pens/pencils etc though. I have passed on a few supplies to craft groups in that way. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

I hope you find your sentiment! I cannot tell you how many times I have double-purchased stamps. I always find the original on the very day the replacement arrives in the mail! What?

I love what I see! Nicely done!

I can see where you are coming from with the 'use it or lose it' but I have so much stuff that I may as well put the whole lot in a skip. I find I have phases and whilst I still love my Lavinia stuff I have been drawn to the way I used to craft when I was more into grunge and Tim Holtz whilst I have been incapacitated. Not sure where I will go when I return to crafting.
Love your masterboards but somehow i never do them myself. Maybe I should start there.
Hugs, Neet xx

I don’t know about use it or lose it. I’ve just come back to watercolour after 5 years and am glad of my old supplies. That’s a pretty masterboard. I hope you find the sentiment you need for your card.
Take care and happy WOYWW

I'm always having trouble finding sentiments too. They should be 'here'-but they never are! I must addmit that Ceri the Crafter got me on to materboards...so I'll have a look at your links! Have a really fabulous week! Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn))#17

So annoying when you know you have it somewhere. I misplaced a small sentiment stamp this week. It was on my desk and then poof gone. Hunted high and low for it and even checked the dishwasher in case it had been picked up on the bottom of my coffee mug. Then i moved my laptop half an inch to the right and there it was hiding underneath. Phew. Hugs Mrs A.

Happy Sunday, Angela. Checked out your Friday blog. those rascals. LOL.
You are the one who got me started on masterboards. I'll be diving into making a new selection on my Friday premiere this week. I have envelopes galore!
