WOYWW - 771 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I've had distractions but trying to get back to the Masterboard Grid journal though I think what I should be doing is clearing the exploding box again and I need to get on with the new Mixed Media project too. Not sure whether it's good to have lots of ideas or nothing Lol!

Got the rabbits out to start off with some Easter cards and then remembered there are birthday cards to make so as yet they are still sitting there.
The papers towards the front are part of a collection, something else that's been sitting around for too long.

This is my newest collection of grid collages, I loved making those. Lots of red this time and some glitter too.

I've also decided to make some more bubble paper, yellow this time.
I am not a lover of this colour but decided it was needed. I must be a brave girl!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Left-Overs

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you two cards made with this piece of left-over Masterboard:

You may remember seeing this before here: and here:
As this started off as an A3 Masterboard there was plenty to play with so I've used a part of the Masterboard to make some small cards and these are a couple of examples.

The Giraffe on the right comes from a Kate Crane collection.
I layered them on black card before attaching them to the card blank.
You may be able to see that I've added a few white dots in places for a little extra detail, I love them as they pop out lovely.

The blob die is by Sizzix and the background was done with stamps and stencils by Aall and Create and the stitches are stamps by Studio Light.
The sentiment was something I'd had in my stash for ages and not sure where they came from but it works perfect on the blob.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My friend sent me these photographs. She lives in France and these were from the Venetian Festival at Annecy.
I have lots of these but will save some for another week as I wanted to show you something else too.

How much work must go into making these costumes!

I do feel though that the masks are a bit scary.

Can you see the little teddy?

Wednesday evening went to friend's for a chinese, very nice.

As you can see the menwasted no time getting started Lol!

Just as nice was the next thing......
You may remember a couple of years ago I was a member of the Creative Craft Academy but the lady who runs it decided to have a rest for a while but she has restarted it under a different name and it will now be known as Mixed Media Classes.
If you're interested you should be able to find it here:

Anyway this is what I received this month.

Very well packaged.

I'm not sure what I enjoy the most, openning the parcel or the making.
The cards are showing this months project and next months.
There is no membership so it's up to you when you choose to purchase a project.

Anna puts everything you need in the box so if you don't normally do Mixed Media you don't need to buy anything else.

Don't know if you can see it but that's a lovely big stencil in the bottom.

So much to play with here.

Moulded moths and light bulbs.

I think openeing the parcel is as much fun as the making, it certainly made me smile.

I can't wait to play with this!
I'll get back to you when I've started making.

But for now more funnies.
I have included the pyramid again today as it's so me!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Back to my real desk this week.
A rather large box! A very small guillotine, very full boxes full of stuff I will need quite soon. A very large Prit stick back right, some sizzix heart dies still waiting to be moved, at the back right and a nice collection of blending brushes on the right too.

And a new box of goodies waiting to be opened.

This is from Anna Hersom for Mixed Media Classes.

I must say there's some gorgeous products in here.

Can't wait to start making this.

All that in one project, brilliant box of goodies and an online tutorial too. Can't wait to start the fun.
The project is by Anna Hersom for Mixed Media Classes.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You may remeber these Masterboards which I showed you on an earlier post here:

I had part of that Masterboard spare and decided to add a little more detail too it:

Just playing with some stencils and stamps to add detail.

And the card.......

I had so much fun, making this.

I used some dies by Funky Fossil to make the light bulbs and cut them again with some yellow parchment paper which I added to the inside of the diecut to give the effect of light.
I finished these by adding some yellow stickles glue for a little extra shine which is perfect for this sentiment.

A few little white dots made with a large white Sharpie pen really pop out.

The sentiment (by Visible Image) is also stamped and heat embossed on Parchment.

The design is then layered onto black and green card and a black card blank.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
In the garden first ......
we did have some sun this week.

The Camellia has lots of buds but no flowers yet.

This is part of the lawn, the magpies have been helping to remove the moss from the garden, very kind of them.

Special delivery next.

Love this from Etsy.
Nice box.

Well packed and wrapped.

And this was inside, it's very cosy.

My favourite day though was last Saturday at the Craft and Chat club.

My desk for the day.

And the cards I made which is quite good as we spend more time chatting really!
Love it.

And finally a few funnies.

Naturally!

This could be our sitting room.
Every time we get new dogs I say they will not be allowed on the furniture and hubby can't resist hugging the puppies in his usual reclining position and that's that!

Schnauzers are very loving! even when you wish they wouldn't be Lol!

This could be me Hee! Hee!

This is good for people and dogs.

I am doing my best to avoid this as Daisy tries to kiss you whenever you're not watching but her favourite is one right up your nose and thank goodness as yet she does not have a stinky breath.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
