Back to the Craft Barn with Drunken Chalks.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi everyone just here to let you know this is another project for the Craft Barn and it's now live.

Been working with Surgical Spirit and Hand Sanitizer which contain alcohol, to find out how the two might work with Distress Oxides and here is a peek of how I used them. If you would like to see more details then pop over to The Craft Barn.

On some of these I used a dropper and on others a spray to apply the Surgical Spirit.

And finished off by making these cards with the samples.

Tutorial for making these projects and the results with the Hand Sanitizer are available now at The Craft Barn.

I would love to hear what you think about my project and any comments will be gratefully received.

Look forward to seeing you at The Craft Barn.

Happy crafting,

Angela xXx

I would like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

You might know that when something interesting is happening I didn't have my camera but still got a reasonable photo with my phone.

They are tagging the swans with a tracking device so they can check where they go when they leave the park.

But I can tell you dad wasn't impressed the following day.

You can see the band on his leg which he didn't seem to like but I'm sure he will get used to it in time.

Following all this excitement we went to Derbyshire at the weekend for a memorial walk.
Quite different to walking round Lincolnshire and although we do have some hilly parts they are not as steep as where we were on Saturday.

Seems familiar?

This is not a ski resort!

Still not sure?

Great views.

And at the top you have the Fossil Factory.

Two caves to investigate.

Old carvings done by the lead miners.

It was very dark especially when the guide shut all the lights off to show us what it would be like just with candles as the miners who started here would have had.

The weather was lovely when we went down the cave but drizzly when we finished so the photographs were a bit difficult but I'm sure you will have guessed by now that this was the Heights of Abraham at Matlock, Derbyshire UK

That was Friday and on Saturday we met up with the gang at Monyash to start the walk but this was the first photograph I managed to take, at lunch time.

I took this one whilst waiting for the rest of the group to come down some very slippery stone steps but we all survived thank goodness.

I think everyone was ready for a little rest here.

Finally just a couple of photographs that I took on the way home.
Lovely old towns and villages in this area.

The weather was good and it was great to see old friends again even though one was missing but I'm sure he was looking down at us and having a good laugh watching us trying to negotiate those very slippery Derbyshire stones.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

It's not easy to see what I'm up to today as I'm working on white paper with clear 3D Gel and stencils but promise to show you what I've made when it's finished.

This might help:

Everything else is pretty much the same as last week and the box has filled up again with some extra stamps.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You may remember seeing it a couple of weeks ago.

And these:

All cut up.

Well now I've made this with the same Masterboard, Paper Artsy stamps for the main image and Kaisercraft sentiment stamp.

And as there was still some Masterboard left I made this using a 'Find It Media' Christmas Die.

Hopefully this will get me started with the Christmas card making!

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

But not really a lot to show you but I thought this might make you smile.

The tub is fishfood and Maisie is watching for me.
She has become a dog that eats fishfood!
I'm not sure what she is thinking here, she has her grumpy face on probably because the lid is on tight and she can't flick it off or she thinks I am taking too long to come out.

I think she got fed up here and thought she would have a look to see if any of the fish food had been dropped.

Little Madam!!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

So here is my desk for today!

Not too untidy really!

I am just starting some new birthday cards.
Promise to let you see them but for today there's not much to see just a pile of Oxide coloured card on the right waiting to be used and some half made cards to the left.
Everything else is about the same I'm afraid.

However when I saw Julia's lovely card I popped back to show you the one I made this week:

So that's me done for today, sorry it's not ver exciting today.

If you missed it I did make a mini book/journal with Seth Apter products and the link is here.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
