WOYWW # 479 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

More pebbles on the go and the place is definitely in need of a good tidying!

Just got all sorts on the go and trying to get started with some Christmas cards. Sorry to have to mention the C. word!

I like this wired ribbon but not sure how I will use it yet. It's been in the loft for ages and as I am trying to use up stuff that's been sitting unloved I thought I would bring it down, we shall see.

One of the drawers got left open these hold un-mounted stamps that I use regularly, mostly sentiment stamps.

Some of the pebbles here, Gessoed and ready to be painted.

An old stamp by Magenta.

Some lace and a nice big roll of mop-up paper (Kitchen Paper towel Roll).

And if you wonder what happens down the right hand side it's this Lol!

The plastic tub is handy, originally had fish food in it.
The two books at the top I use to pull the pages out to stamp on and
the old book you can see below them is interesting and was given to me by a friend who I used to work with, as a retirement gift.
That was his retirement incidentally not mine! think he was just having a clear out.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela you have lots and lots to keep you busy this week.
I did smile at the container as I save everything that has a lid with the intention of reusing it..
Nice book would be interested to flick through those 150 themes.
Look forward to seeing what becomes of the prepped rocks.
Happy WOYWW Hugs Tracey #6 xx
P.S Wired ribbon is so under rated!!

Hi Angela, Magenta made/make such gorgeous stamps, don't they? I have a batch of rolls of that type of ribbon, bought in Pound stores a few years ago. I think it's either use it or let it go time! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 XxX

What a lot going on, it looks like you are going to be very busy - I'm looking forward to seeing what the stones become this time! I love the ribbon and bought some wired stuff myself a few years ago but the only way I found I used it was to take the wire out and treat it like a fabric as it's so wide. Hope you find something interesting to do with it - I'll be watching this space!
Have a great week,

If yu go to my blog I talk about having an injection by a young man who is a past pupil. Well, his wife is into rock painting too. She and a friend went down to a local "fair" and set up a rock painting stand for youngsters the other week. Her friend runs the Facebook group "Rammy Rocks". Rammy Rocks are famous around here but I have never found one and am sure if I did I would not want to part with it.
You are so busy, I am going to have to go and lie down.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx (smiling)

What a lovely busy desk. Looking forward to seeing what those rocks turn into. There is a rock group here in Sheffield where we hide them... I have only ever found one but it seems very popular locally. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a lovely week. Caro x (#14)

lalalalalalala Angela... I refuse to think about C yet lol. Funnily enough the latest prompt on one of the challenge sites I follow is painting pebbles/rocks. I have to come up with a way of getting a journal page out of them. I look forward to seeing what you manage to do with the ribbon as I have several similar rolls myself and could do with some good ideas. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #8

Hi Angela, the wired ribbon is lovely but, like you, I'm not sure how it can be used. I have a couple of Magenta stamps - they're very nice too. How nice to be given that interesting book as a 'retirement' gift. Have a great week. Elizabeth X #26

Gosh Angela, those drawers are very tidy! I love this post, seeing little vignettes of how you work and what you’re using! I understand about the Christmas cards, plans are starting to make me a bit panicky because I’m so busy in between now and when cards will be needed!!

Happy Belated WOYWW. Lots of different crafty projects going on. I am just too busy with non-crafty stuff to sit in my craft room and actually get inks/stamps/paint etc out. September?! Ali x #16
