WOYWW: 542 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm working on another card using some left-over Masterboard today.

I'm thinking about a concertina card but we'll see.
The card that is peeking out is not actually hidden it's just in the pile and some of you will have seen it before so here it is:

I made this ages ago for the Stamping Ground Challenge so it's fine for you to see it. The stamps are by Altenew.

Now I have to admit that this is a scheduled post as many of you will be aware that we are having alterations done so who knows where I'll be but be sure I will visit you all.

This is where I normally can be found and although you can't see it there isn't a roof on there at the moment but it's being replaced as I write this. If you look closely you might be able to see my desk in the conservatory.
I will be so pleased when everything is back to normal.

So that's me done for today, I can't say where I will be crafting next week but I'll be here!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Oh, I don't envy you the work going on in the house but I am sure you will love it when it is all finished.
Lovely card, I do like the blue of the Masterboard that you are using. You have such a lot of success making Masterboards and using them for your cards - I really should try it myself.
Have a good week

So exciting for you and the big move into your fabulous new cabin....hopefully shortly x. Love the sentiment on your card and I suspect you could have done with some of that over the past few weeks? Meant to say....Thank you for 'making' me buy some AALL stamps that had been in and out of the basket...they came yesterday and I love them! x

I like the "out-of-bounds" nature of that card. I hope you get your crafting desk back soon! What an upheaval - it's never fun having alterations done, but once it's finished, it's so much better! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #16

Gosh it really is all change at your place..and I do know how much you're looking forward to restoring stuff to ‘normal’, even if it’s a new normal! Wonderful amounts of light though. ANd then..the cabin...I’m very excited for you! Love the card, I honestly think you may be the only person that could look at jellyfish stamps and see potential - and that gal, is a fab skill. I may be jealous.

They always say it will be worth it in the end, it is just the intervening steps that are frustrating. I really love that 'Relax' card. Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#6)

Hope all the work gets done quickly and efficiently!
Is your desk area getting bigger or just the room?
Have a great week!

HI Angela, Oooh that looks like it will be so nice when its done I am sure you will be ready to do the last dust clean up and get back to creating :)

The glass does make me curious though if you toss a something over your desk to keep the light off it when you are not making something.

Ooh, lots going on in your life, new cabin, and repairs to the conservatory. Exciting, but you soon reach the stage of just wanting it finished, hope it is all finished soon and you can spread yourself in the cabin.
Sorry we missed you at the show, it is not as if it was huge either, did you buy much?

Hi Angela, I have awful problems with the sunlight fading things in my craft room - it overlooks the garden and has strong sunshine all day in summer. Does this not affect you in the conservatory? I live the jelly fish stamp ... lovely colours on the card. Have a lovely week Heather xx #27

Your card with the off cuts is fabulous.

It can be very frustrating mid progress when alterations are being done. It will be fabulous when it's finished x

I've had a good read through this morning, so glad the rain kept off so the hat on your creative space could be taken off.. What a lovely place to sit and craft. It sounds like a great way to get organised again, you'll be in your element when you get your spot back. I can not wait to see it when finished.
It will all be worth it in the end..
I've not made a concertina card for years, that's a fabulous card to inspire us. Sending WoywW Hugs Tracey xx

Wow, Angela there’s lots going on inside and out, that’s for sure... and from above post Maisie isn’t happy about it either! However guess it will be worth it all in the long run, the art studio or craft shed looks great up above.. have you named it yet. Love the card too.
Happy belated WOYWW.

Hi Angela! very busy desk! I love the masterboard and the jellyfish - one stamp I don't have! Thanks for your visit to mine, I'm writing in the 5 minutes I have before going to work. Today I am dressed as a evil old witch, green skin and all! Have a great day, hope it's nicer than our cold rainy day! Lindart #28

The building work looks exciting, Angela, and I hope it's all finished soon. Don't you find it gets too hot working in a conservatory in the summer? I love the card, and those gorgeous jellyfish! What an unusual stamp. Thank you for your visit, and sorry for the delay in replying - it's been another quite busy week. So glad you like the completed slippers! I'm well over my cold now, thank you.

Happy belated WOYWW,

My nephew would like those jellyfish - he's obsessed with marine life (squid are his favourite... he thinks they're "cute". I'm always trying to suggest that that really isn't an appropriate use of the word "cute"!) I'm glad all is going well with the alterations, but it's making me a little nervous about the move I've got ahead of me early next year.
