woyww - 679 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

It looks a bit quiet because I'm working on a card for a Guest designer spot.

And that's what you can see on the table but no where near finished.

These are a small selection of the ATCs I sent out.

And this is the lovely one that I got from Julia.

I so love this from Susan Renshaw. Nice stamp too which will go in my collection.

And this is the inside, lovely sentiment.
Hope mine has arrived with you Susan x

These are journaling cards that are waiting to be used.

I got these two Pressure tools from Amazon as they are useful for the stamping platform if you have a large stamp that need lots of pressure. Though of course I only need one here so will probably put one of them in my club bag.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Your table looks so tidy and I'm getting a bad conscience because mine is such a mess. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

Good morning Angela. Love the card you are doing. Is it the same fold as your craft group did last time? I am intrigued by those pressure things. I just looked them up, they are smaller than I thought they would be. I thought they would need to be at least 4 inches. The remarks were good though. A while ago I was looking at art barrens which vary in price from just under £4 to £28. The cheap one was not impressive and the expensive one was too much, they were about 4 inches. I see All & Create have new stamps out, not keen on big eyed people, but I do like the music ones and the hippo. Happy WOYWW. Angela #15

The card you are working on is looking fabulous - I can't wait to see it finished. The pressure tools look interesting, I've never heard of them before but I should imagine they make quite a difference - I often have poor prints from not putting even pressure on the larger stamps.
Hope you have a lovely week,
Diana xx #14

The card looks interesting so far - bet it develops into some serious loveliness. And that image from your ATCs is fab. The masterboard (can't help but slip down to check them out, every week) is beautiful, and 2 x pressure tools? I use an old kids block with one of the felt pads for under furniture stuck on it. It works OK but needs a handle. I must have an old doorknob kicking about..... :)
Happy WOYWW to you!

Hellooo Angela 🤗 your card is looking fabulous so far 💕 adore your ATC's and envelopes 🥰 tooo the gorgeous happy mail from Julia and Susan 💛 Oh my loving your gadgets for the stamping platform ... I often struggle with large stamps on my platform so thank yooooou for that tip 🤗 Thank you so much for stopping by mine 💕 and your caring words. How I wish we were going to the show this Sunday we could have met up but with my Mum not so good we want to stay close with covid still around. I'm sorry my own collections only available in my Etsy and Hochanda at the end of the month 😊 but Paula has my wonkies I designed for Whichcraft a few years ago 💕 The coffee stained fabric is all lovely and dry now just waiting to be ironed 😀 I have an idea in my head and if it works out will let you see next week 😘 it involves .. driftwood. Have a fabulous week ahead with much love and hugs Tracy #11 xxxx

Ooh, I really do like the card, anything steampunky is fine by me - love it! The pressure tools are really weird looking but if they work, then hey, all is good!

That card is going to be awesome when you finish it. It already looks great. Nice ATCs, too. This is the second time today I've been without electricity and a watermain broke in Wichita and we have to boil water until further notice. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

Morning Angela! As ever on catch up as my room got too hot yesterday pm and I had to vacate! Always something. Love the card you are making, it's very calm. I have one of those pressure tools, I do think they help. The ATC you made is lovely, sad we missed out this year. Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindy #22

Always so many wonderful things to see here on your Wednesday post, Angela. I'm agog at the pressure tools, and here I am using my oh-so-heavy art books to do the same thing (when I could be reading them instead 😉). I've got ATC envy; these are all lovely!!

Pressure tools huh. I thought you’d taken up air hockey!! Seems that we’re the only part of the Commonwealth that hasn’t produced a postage stamp to celebrate the jubilee, how strange! Your ATCs are fab, it’s been a wonderful exchange of ideas and making connections hasnt it. Meanwhile, enjoying your paper engineering on the Gd card, what a great GD you make, they’ll be so chuffed they found you!

Hi Angela!

Your project card looks awesome already! I have never seen to pressure tools before - do they really work? I hardly ever use my stamping platform anymore, it's just much easier to stamp and press hard. I love your ATCs. Someday I will have to participate! Thanks for your visit, sorry I'm so late!
