Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi Workdesk friends. We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
Not much going on today.
But some new stuff.
A Microwave Flower Press. I have a flower press but it takes ages to dry anything so I've bought this one so that I can dry flowers to go in the resin. These are really quick to use.
The stamps on the left are AALL and Create but not new.
And I've just got this too, lovely stamps and papers.
And a different desk, this was Saturday at the Craft and Chat club.
Thought you might like to see what we were making.
It was very difficult to cut into this paper but it had to be done.
I didn't want to keep you for too long but if you want to know more you can find the details here.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,

Good morning Angela, another great card on display. That paper seems to work quite well with the design. I have not seen a microwave flower press before, I wonder if you could use a book in the microwave? Might not be enough pressure. Must put my order in for the the Indigo Blu magazine before they sell out. I have been having fun with my collages, My intention was to do more abstract, but they take on a life of there own! Hugs Angela. Happy WOYWW.
Your card is stunning - I do love those papers. I don't know what I would do without my microwave flower press - it's perfect for impatient people!! I've used cat litter in the past to help dry out flowers for resin.
Have a lovely week and enjoy your new stash,

Hi Angela! I've looked into those microwave flower presses a while ago, but they were not cheap - I'll check out your brand, perhaps it's more affordable. It is a bit frustrating waiting for your petals to dry out naturally - and by the time they do, I forget all about them LOL! Love that paper pack and how you used it - is it Stamperia or Graphic 45? It's true that it is hard to cut them up but that's what they're for (or so I keep telling myself)! Have a lovely week! xx zsuzsa #20
ps I've looked up the microwave flower press! It is very affordable, only £13 something on Amazon. When I wanted to buy one last year, only the Microfleur was available but that's like £65! I might get one too - let us know how you get on with it!
Wow that's stunning Angela. I love what you've used the paper for...well worth cutting into it.
Hugs,

I can well imagine how hard it was to cut into that paper - but what a fabulous result. Love what you made with it.
The flower press sounds brilliant, I don't think I need to press them as quickly as you do but can imagine it paying for itself in no time at all for you.
Hugs, Neet xx
That card is stunning but if the "here" is meant to be a link, I'm not getting the click :(. I DO want to know more.... LOL! I did, as ever, scroll down - perhaps that is all the "more" there is? It's a real corker, love the vintage style and yeah, that paper is wonderful!
Enjoy the flower press - I'd probably fry them to a crisp, even in the microwave...
Happy WOYWW next-day!

Lovely artwork as usual Angela! I hope your flower press works - it sounds fab. xx Jo
I always enjoy your desk posts, Angela - so many new things and you seem to be totally up to date on them all. I'd not heard of a microwave flower press and it makes great sense. I can see some wonderful creativity coming out of that.
Gorgeous card...drooling to the max. You are the Creative Card Queen! Sending hugs, Win
