Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My time has been pretty much taken up by these two when I've not been doing mum's jobs.
Thankfully they are getting on pretty well together though Stan has had to put her in her place a couple of times but he's good at it.

She has found all the best spots too.

They seem to mirror each other.

We were a bit worried last week as she was sick a couple of times so we wrapped her up in Maisie's cooler coat and she's been fine since so it was obviously the heat.

Cute or what.

I think she like Stan but what do you think?

Other than that we've been in the park where they are trying to make a pebble trail.

which will be nice if people don't keep pinching the pebbles.

I've got a few to add to the trail too.

These are some of my favourites.

The park is really dry at the moment and needing rain.

But it will grow back in time.

A bit of lead practice for Daisy.

Sorry no funnies today as I've just been too busy but I'll try and make up for it next week.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Lovely to see more photos of Daisy. Poor thing suffering from the heat. Do they make those coats for humans? I'm sure they would sell very well.
I've noticed my comment last week didn't come through. Kate's didn't either. I'm now typing on my desktop PC, so I'm sure you'll get it. iOS is not reliable.
I love those pebbles. They are so pretty I can imagine people want to 'steal' them. Yours are very pretty!
I was astounded at the colour of the lawn at the park. All brown! As you say, it will grow back as soon as the rain starts.
Keep smiling,
Hugs,
Lisca

It is lovely to see Daisy and Stan getting on so well together. When you see the two of them out on a walk, you realise how small she actually is.
Kim had never worn a jacket and I don't think he will accept one now, but we did buy him an ice mat and he lays on that quite often.
The park certainly looks as though it could do with some rain. It is pretty much like that everywhere here, and no rain likely at least until the end of August.
All the pebbles ar such fun. I hope folk leave them alone so everyone can enjoy them. Kate x

Having been without internet for nearly a day, I am finally able to visit. Daisy is such a cutie and she is really even smaller than I thought when she is spread out on the couch. I can see why these two have been what has kept you busy this week. Training a new puppy is vital and should be done ASAP. I have taught both my dogs to sit, stay, and come and to be obedient at six weeks. I have had friends comment on how good my dog was at such a young age. One thing I never do, and don't believe in, is to teach them tricks. Dogs are not entertainers. They are companions and should be treated as such. No rolling over on cue, no jumping through hoops, etc. I know some people would surely disagree with me on that, but that is how I feel about dogs.

I'm also a pure breed snob. If it's a mutt, I don't want it. It must have papers and parentage as both my German Shepard and my Chesapeake Bay Retriever had. Bear, my Chessie, had grand champions on both sides of his parents going back many generations.

Those rocks in the park are wonderful. I hope they are not stolen by someone who is thoughtless and callous. Speaking of parks, yours looks as bad as my yard!

Have a super weekend and great week, dear friend. Thanks for visiting while I was offline.

Those photos of Stan and Daisy are pure delight, and I'd say they not only mirror each other, but that they're a great and loving pair!

The pebble trail is an awesome idea. My daughter's recent purchase of a new home found her the proud possessor of some 500+ painted rocks in the yard...I may suggest this to her as she could easily make a trail to the nearest park which is a block or two away.

Have a great week, Angela - sending hugs from Canada!
