WOYWW - 712 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I have got round to starting something new!
However please don't look too close at the exploding box as it's not got much further to go so think I really will have to get it sorted.

And so to the new stuff.

Actually this is not a new journal book but it's never been used and so as part of my 'Use it or Lose it' plan it has to be filled.

I am hoping to complete at least one page per month to begin with but we'll see. I am trying to be realistic so I'm not planning too much too soon.

Started with some simple colour blending and some white splatters.

Stamping.

.

More stamping and a collection of different ephemera then more paint splatters and stickles glitter glue.
I finished this with a few old postage stamps.
I know Christmas is gone but some of the elements were left over so it seemed like a shame not to use them.
I hope this will be the start of lots more pages.

And for those of you who were interested in the tag book dies this is what I've made with them.

This was made with a mixture of patterned papers and diecuts.

So that's me done for today.

It's actually my birthday today but I will do my best to get round everyone, just might take me a bit longer than usual.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Well, first of all "Happy Birthday" Angela, hope you have a lovely day and year ahead.
Love the journal page, look forward to seeing many more as time goes on. Good idea to use some of the things left over from the festivities.
Love the tag book you made - those faces are intriguing me, I kind of recognise them but cannot put a finger on the artist.
Have a brilliant day.

Happy Birthday Angela, hope you have a wonderful day!!
I really loved the step by step pics of the journal page, as non paper crafter I often wonder how the layers get built up and you made it blear to see. I think you need a bigger exploding box, that one always seems to be bursting at the seams, lol!!

Wishing you a very happy birthday. I too am trying to use stuff up. Yesterday it was Glossy accents. Today Iam thinking about binning a carton of Glaze thatI bought by mistake. Apart from the name it is in an identical container to the gesso I buy. Opened it today and it’s gone very thick. I have only used it a couple of times. I was wondering if I could use it instead of gesso under the first layer of collage. Happy WOYWW Angela #12

Thanks for your visit last week, Angela, and I'm so sorry to be this late returning! Loving your accordion album! Good to know that cats can stand their ground against foxes! I have seen Oreo once play with a small fox in the garden a few years ago, but it was only a baby. I'm not sure what he would do if he met papa fox! Enjoy your week! xx zsuzsa (from last week)

The tag book looks fabulous. I've signed up for the BADASS journal workshops starting this week. I'm hoping it will give me a bit more creative scope, but also don't want to over commit myself. xx
