This week has seen another Patchings Art Festival.
This is held in the Nottingham countryside at The Patchings Art Centre near Calverton.
We have been visiting this event for some years now and it just gets bigger every year. It's good to see so many people visiting and they come from all over the country for the love of Art.
Some crafts and photography are included but this is mostly fine art as far as the demonstrations and workshops are concerned.
However, there are demonstrations by many of the companies that we all love such as Daler Rowney, Pebeo, Faber-Castell, Caran D'ache, Pan Pastel and others with offers on their products so I usually come back with a bag full of goodies!
The event is so popular that it is on for four days and includes demonstrations and workshops by lots of well known companies and artists.
So here are a few photographs of the event:
You enter through a lovely wooded glade.
And the entrance is surrounded by trees decorated with Crochet.
This is not far from The Greenwood Gardens Bonsai Nursery and they were there demonstrating which is new this year and I think it shows that people are starting to realise that it's not just fine Art that should be appreciated.
It's so good to see so many people visiting.
It was a lovely day and when you are tired of walking round you can sit down and listen to the band.
Well that's all for today.
Happy Crafting,
Angela xXx
