Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

One of the things I have done is to collect photographs to make a New Year Calendar so I thought you might like to see a few pics that I found.
I'm sure these will make you smile.

This was Maisie being weighed.
How cute is that though she didn't seem impressed.

This is Stan warn out after playing with his sock.

Not that he's much different now! He certainly knows how to relax.

And this is the first meeting which you will have seen before on my blog page. Maisie was just a year old here and Stan just a baby.
They used to call him Fat Stan because he was so much bigger than the other puppies in the litter.

Other than that I've been trying to clear the leaves away in the garden.
To my surprise I found this!

I'm thinking you might guess what all this soil is unfortunately.

Yes we have a mole, just hoping he stays down here and doesn't dig up all the garden.

Last Saturday was good as I went to the Craft Club again and started making a new Christmas Wallet Book using Graphic 45 papers.

And we made this little Christmas card.
How sweet is the little Penguin.

Hope you've had a good week too and a great weekend to follow.
Thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW # 495 - What's On You Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm working on some Christmas Masterboards at the moment.
Need to get my cards finished as the time is getting shorter, just don't know where it's gone!

The other stuff on my desk is from Art From The Heart when they had their Black Friday sale.
Think I might have some fun with these, when I get the chance!

So that's me done for today but just a quick note before I go.

Some of you were asking about the fabric leaves I was working on.

I am not sure at this stage how the they will be used as they are part of a larger project called Beleaf which is an Art in the Community project. When they are all finished they are going to be put together to create one large piece some time in the New Year so like you I await with anticipation.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 223 - Anything but a Card.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Hi I'm hosting today and our challenge is 'Anything but a Card'.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

I made this using the Eileen Hull wrap around journal die. To this I added stencils and stamps by Dylusions and Tim Holtz.

I applied the detail to the masterboard using embossing paste and a stencil when this was set I applied the colour using Gelatos rubbing it back slightly to reveal the detail.

Die cut using the journal die and then stencil the inner section.

Colour with Gelatos.

To complete the cover I rubbed over Pebeo gilding wax.

The pages for the inside were cut using the Eileen Hull Passport die.

Stamping using Dylusion stamps and the images heat embossed.

Cut out the sections which will be attached.

I used a ball tool to round the head a little before attaching with 3D stickers.

Once all the pieces are ready it's time to attach everything.
I added some ribbon to the tag, some small brass embellishments and glazed the face so I apologise for the slight glare.

I decorated some of the pages for the inside and added Dylusion stamped sentiments.

So there you have it all completed.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Though this week has been just as manic as the last one I have managed to take a few photographs on the way.

Saw this in the park on Thursday.

How clever is that hand sewn on a real leaf, love it!

We've had a few nice walks in the park.

The whole place is covered in leaves at the moment which helped me with my own leaf project for the Lincoln Art Ninjas.

So plenty of inspiration there.

And here is Hendrix one of my doggy friends and a real sweetie.

 More squirrels too.
This one was eating a mushroom, just hope it's not the magic variety.

And to finish of with a smile, here are Maisie and Stan in the newly decorated bedroom.

Note the matching fleecy jackets! which coordinate with the furnishings.
Coincidence really as they've had these for ages.

These photographs make them look a bit like book ends.

They are a funny pair and don't like to miss out on anything that's going on. It's also interesting that they seem to copy each other a bit like a mirror image.

Anyway that's about it for today.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW #494 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Due to other distractions the only thing I've worked on this week has been the leaves so nothing very exciting I'm afraid.

I've done both sides. One side actually looks like a leaf and the other side is decorated with insects.

So that's me done for today nice and quick.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x
