Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
As far as photographs are concerned I don't think there are many as I've been so busy but I do have a few taken in the garden.

My grapes are coming on though they look better than they actually are which is a shame as there are loads this year.

The Honey suckle is doing well.
Smells gorgeous too.

Damsons starting to ripen.

The apples are getting bigger.

Nearly dug this out when we did the pergola, glad we didn't.

Here comes Stan.

Ooohh! Ahhh! this is nice!

Time for a shake.

And a little rest.

Not in the garden as you might have guessed and getting bigger.

Sadly one of the really big old oak trees in the park lost a branch this week and I can tell you I'm pleased I wasn't there when it happened. Bet that was one almighty crack!

This is the remains.

And to finish off....Maisie managed to find a fresh mole hill this week so she's happy too.

By the time I see you next week I should have photographs from the Steampunk festival which takes place this weekend, well today actually until Monday.

If you would like to know more this is the link to the website: only crazy people need to check this out Lol!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Great garden pics I love honeysuckle and shame about the grapes-the man next door has a red grape one and the blackbirds are hanging about picking off the grapes as they ripen-no wine next year !

Always love seeing photos from your garden. Have NO idea what a damson is, so will check out on the internet. What is that bush/tree you saved with the beautiful flowers? You are right, it is stunning. Stan looks happy in the garden and Maisie looks like she's having fun at the mole hills. That tree is now in serious difficulty because it lost that huge branch.

I look forward to seeing photos of the Steampunk Festival. It's always a highlight when you go there and share it with us. Have a SUPER Friday and a lovely weekend, dear Angela.

I would absolutely LOVE to go to a steampunk festival! How awesome! I can't wait to see the photos, you lucky gal! Your garden photos are beautiful! We are having problems in our neighborhood of raccoons eating all the fruit - apples, grapes etc, and not being very nice about it either. So for once I am glad I don't grow any fruit! But your grapes look so nice! Mittsy could give Melissa and Stan some squirrel chasing pointers if they want...LOL! Thanks for your visit! Have a great week, Lindart #21

Great photos. It's a shame the grapes don't taste as good as they look. Hopefully the apples will. I agree that was probably a loud crack of lightning (I assume) that broke that large tree branch off. Maisie is adorable, as always. A Steampunk festival sounds like fun!

What a shame about the grapes. But really you need warm sunshine to get the sweetness, and in the Uk that is not possible. But the rest of the fruit looks really good. Did I see you had netting around your apple tree? Who's been eating your apples?
It's such fun to see your fur-babies playing in the garden.
Those cygnets are nearly full grown I would say.
I'm looking forward to seeing the photos of the steampunk festival. Please take lots of photos!
Have a lovely weekend,
Lisca

Grapes look lovely, wine perhaps? Dogs are funny when they choose the highest place to mark their area! Never heard of a steampunk festival, sounds good though, looking forward to the photographs.

Yum, lots of delicious things growing in your garden! I wonder if your grapes have the same problem my figs do... they start off well, looking as though they're going great guns, but then just when they need that final week of sun to finish them off, the English weather lets them down... Fingers crossed you'll get some grapes to eat/drink as well as all the other fruit.
