WOYWW - 531 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm playing with some Altenew stamps today, trying to work out the exact layering for each piece.
They make it sound easy but with four pieces to layer on top of each other if they are not exactly right they don't die cut correctly. Still I'll get there I'm sure.

They certainly are pretty!

Most of the things on the desk are about the same as last week apart from this.

You might have noticed it just on the left. I'm certainly going to have fun with this.
I'm guessing some of you out there will know what to do with it and if you don't you'll just have to wait and see what happens!
Sorry for being a tease but it's only just arrived.

I also have a post below this one that you might like as my project for Country View Crafts is live today and you can find it here.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I couldn't resist scrolling down to see the details of that concertina card Angela. Such an amazing project and the tip about heating the interfacing is genius. I would guess that the seal and wrap might be used with watercolours on coated card? Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10

Morning Angela, I have bought some multi layer stamps too, and agree, they are not quite as simple as suggested, persevere, I'm sure you will get it right in the end.
And I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Press'n'seal, it looks fun, but I really cannot justify buying any more dies.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Angela, very curious about the Press & Seal.Wondering if it's a sort of cling film technique? I'll be waiting now to find out. Love the concertina card, lovely job. Not bought any of the layering stamps, but cn imgine they could be a little frustrating. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

Not a clue what you are doing with the Press'n Seal but I have some. Only reserved for special things - don't tell me I am going to get hooked on using it in crafting! I love it because I have a poor relationship with Clingfilm. I get in such a tangle with it but when I met Press'n Seal in America I bought some. A lot cheaper than over here.
Love my three layer stamps and must say the Misti makes a difference with it - so much easier.
Have a good week - now my mind is racing around that packet.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Love your pop window comment box so can do you before my very late bedtime Angela. Thank you.

Loved your concertina book sown below and the Distress stuff like viyalene was interesting. Press n seal. Bought some in US, as not available here, it’s in supermarket there, but still not used.

Actually Jennifer McGuires hubby invented it, she said on one of her videos.

She’s also done excellent tip on stamp layering stamps. Look them up. You use the guide sheet over the card and base stamped image to work out next later position stamp using laid over guide black outline then lid down picks up stamp in right place already to ink up.

Remind me next week why I bought it.. actually I do know one use but not sure which one yours it!
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #20

I am so looking forward to seeing what you do with the press'n seal Angela x. I find the layering stamps incredibly hard to layer up ....even with good instructions! x.

Your desk looks like you're very busy with projects right now. I'm one of the ones guessing what you'll be doing with that item in the photo.

I had to check your Conceertina Book. WOW! It definitely has texture!
I haven't played with Altenew stamps yet. It's on my bucket list.
I have a roll of Press'n Seal in my room, too. LOL!
Thanks for popping by and have a great week!

I've never used multi-layer stamps. They sound quite difficult to use properly! I love the concertina book you made. Thank you for your visit. Yes, I enjoy interesting cooking, and eating good nutritious and tasty food is the reward for all the hard work! Nice to know you've got the same label die. You are right - it's proved very useful on a number of occasions. I thought my new pantry labels would look nicer in a pretty shape than just cut in rectangles.

Your new stamps do sound tricky, but I'm sure you will figure it out! I peeked at your project, and "English Country Garden" was my first thought, lying in the grass, looking at all the wonderful little things happening in an English Country Garden! Well done! Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Lindart #23

Those Jelly fish are certainly pretty. I've used plastic wrap to create water effects using watercolors in the past, but curious to see if that's what you're doing. Happy belated WOYWW! #26
