WOYWW - 683 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm trying this week to get that journal project finished so that I can move on to something new, it's been half done for weeks.

Not sure this is a very clear photo but it's just needing a sentiment I think though I have gone a bit mad with this but then it resembles my garden quite well!
It is a combination of Stamperia papers, magazine pics, stamping, die cuts and adhesive dragonflies Oh! and I've added some Stickles Glitter Glue too.

The exploding box is definitely ready to pop out it's contents! better have a tidy up soon.

Nothing very new here but this maybe:

For those of you who were interested in my new microwave flower press these are some of the first flowers I've tried. They are Fox Gloves and they took about 80 seconds to dry completely.
You need to do this for 20 seconds and then check, then 20 sec. and check until you are happy with the finish. Bit quicker than the old way of pressing them and the colour's good too.

You can see here they are very thin and dry.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Wow. Super impressed with both how the microwave press works and that journal page. You really pulled all those disparate elements together in a magically cohesive way. Stunning. Love it love it love it!
Happy WOYWW on the day for a change :D !

WOW the fox gloves flowers pressed are amazing, what a graet way to do it.
The craft shop which is closing is called Kraft Crazy and can be found on Facebook. She is trying to photograph stuff and list it there and you can comment on a photo if you want to buy stuff and she'll post it if you're not near. I'm saving my stuff up for a big parcel when she'd finished listing the dies, although I have added a few stencils too. Love your garden wall piece. BJ#16

Love the journal page Angela - hope the exploding box doesn't burst its banks! The foxglove petals have come out very well in the microwave press. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

A microwave flower press, or my am I being left behind living in the forgotten province of Almeria, Spain. Those fox gloves are beautiful and maintained their colour. Everyone this week seems to be having trouble finishing their Journals. Ani

My gosh, Angela, the microwave flower press is amazing! I’ve been waiting since March for some little roses to press and dry and although they’ve held colour, I can’t say that it’s the original colour at all. Good on you for getting out the journal and carrying on, I’m very bad at that. Mind you, by now, you’ll know that I’m very bad at most disciplines!

Fascinating results with the microwave press, and so much quicker and easier than the one I finally abandoned. I can see that the thinness of the results would make the flowers a wonderful addition to a journal spread. (And yours looks lovely, by the way!)

Your dried foxgloves look like dragonfly wings! So pretty! Your journal page is coming along nicely, it often takes me days to complete a page. Hugs, thanks for your visit, Lindart #18

WOW, I'm impressed with the flower press. The colours are so good I thought they were fussy-cut papers. The journal page is lovely, not surprised it's take ages.
