WOYWW - 730 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Sorry it looks a bit empty today as I've just finished working on a card which I posted Monday but you can see it here.
I think you might like it, using Kate Crane stamps.

This ATC is from Cindy and it's gorgeous, just arrived a bit late for me to show it here last week.

These are some of the Kate Crane and Carabelle stamps I've been playing with.

Look at this lot!
You can't even see the exploding box but it's there somewhere!

This is the other side and I've still got the ATC folder on show.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I'm back to using up those left-over Gelli print pieces so watch out here comes the fun!

I know you have seen this before but it has to be used up and there's still plenty left so I've made another card.

I've been playing around again with some Kate Crane stamps and this left-over Gell print.

I've used one of Kate's stamps to decorate the background straight onto the card blank using black ink and second generation print.

I didn't want the background to over power the design so I stamped off some of the ink before applying it to the card blank.

I layered this up adding metalic grean cord and black card.
The bunting is by Kate too. I finished the design with Stickles Glitter glue and.......

a small heart from also by Kate and a birthday sentiment from my stash completes the inside of the card.

I love this card and hope you like it too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This started at the end of last week.

 And now it's finished.

I'm growing peas, cauliflowers, carrots and salad leaves.
I got a bit tired of bending down all the time to pick the strawberries so decided it would be better to have a raised bed and here we are.

The Wisteria have been gorgeous.

We have pink and lilac that you can see here.

So many gorgeous flowers.

I have been walking in the park again.....

These four arrived!
How sweet are they.

On Sunday I went to the Lincolnshire show ground for the Crafterama show.

It was great to see so many companies there and so many people too.

Lots of Demos

Gorgeous samples.

And Make and Takes too.

So I've done a bit of tidying up in the front garden and sorted out some old clothes for the charity bags since then .

Sadly some prat! (sorry about the word) tried to take money using my credit card but good old Santander knew it couldn't be me and stopped the transaction. I had bought something earlier in the week on-line and the company had contacted me to say their website had been compromised so we think it was that.
It was a bit of a shock at the time but thanks to the bank it got sorted.

So that's your lot my friends.

No dogs this week as they are both in kennels while Hubby is away and I'm catching up with lots of jobs.
I've been doing some sorting while he's off on his travels around the country and just hope he's not too shocked when he gets back as I had instructions not to do too much! Who is he kidding Lol!
So I've done a bit of tidying up in the front garden, sorted out some old clothes for the charity bags and clearing out stuff that must have been in the cupboards for far too long!

But I will leave you with a few thoughts.....

I am sure all dog lovers can understand these.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

So here is my desk for today!

A desk full of ATCs. Love them all.

FRONT.

While waiting for the ATCs to arrive I've been making a new pocket folder to store them in.

BACK.

What a great collection.
Many thanks ladies.
I thought the Never Ending ATC that Mary Anne made was very clever but really I just loved them all.

I have also received this one from Caro.

Gorgeous colours.

I'm going to leave it at that today but as you can see the exploding box is no better.
Time for a bit of sorting I think!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Masterboard Monday - Use it or lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you ATCs made with these papers:

I love these little robots.

These are Craft O'Clock papers.

I've been making these for the Stamping Ground WOYWW 14th Anniversary.

I love a bit of movement in cards and ATCs so finished them with one of the images attached with acetate.

I will be receiving several ATCs from the swap so the next job was to make a pocket holder to store them in.

I started this with some old packaging card and made up the folder which was then ecorated with the same papers.

Pockets next using Kraft card.

I used this die by Tim Holtz but removed the top flap  then joined the pocket and attached them together with Redline tape. I also used the tape to attach the pockets to the inside of the folder.

Front.

And here it is completed and ready to hold the ATCs.

Back.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Alfie is here to welcome you, lazy boy.

We did go out to the garden centre last friday and treated ourselves to a little something.
The healthy scone was mine but I have to say the naughty one looked nice.

Look at these beauties.

They are doing really well this year as the buds got eaten last year before they got to this stage.

Sorry more dog pics.

These two get everywhere.

If that's not comfy I don't know what is!

We do not have ducks in the pond so the visitors had to go I'm afraid, though they were not keen to leave.

It took me a while to even attract their attention!

Found these when walking in the park, pleased they are not in my garden.

On the way to see mum we called in at ther Fish Farm for a few supplies.

They have some gorgeous fish at the moment.

It's difficult to tell here but these were big!

When we arrived at the care home everyone had just about finished in the dining room.
I think it looks really nice and friendly, everything is very clean too.

We thought we'd stop off at a public house near home  for something to eat and when we got out of the car this guy was in the car park.
I said hello to him....

and he turned round and appeared to start walking away.

Then suddenly turned back and started following us.

When I turned back again he was there right behind me which is why the photo is so close.
Of course I got blamed for speaking to him.
We had to get through the door and shut it quickly though apparently he hung around for a while.
I think someone has been feeding him outside as he was very friendly and not a bit bothered by us.

Think that's about it for today.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
