WOYWW -735 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Actually two desks.
The first one is in the cabin where I've been using my Gelli plate.

Just a few sample pieces.

Second pulls.

And the card which I made with one of the prints.

More details on my Monday post here:
oo0oo
And then desk no. 2.

Nothing much happenening on this desk today but I know lots of you wanted to see this card finished so here it is with the shrink plastic flowers added.

So what do you think now, this.......

or this......?

I like them both but the flowers work so what do you think?

That's me done for today.
If I'm a bit late getting round to some of you it's because we are still clearing mum's house but I'll get round as soon as I can I promise.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I think, after lots of up and downing to compare, that I prefer the card with the shrink plastic flowers. The leaves in particular look really good, wonderful shine on them! I couldn't even begin to work out how or where, but am suddenly rwthe fancying a shed with a desk too, maybe it would make me as inspiring as you are!

Both your desks are tidy! I like the flowers, but I prefer the card without them, it's so elegant. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I am amazed by those shrink plastic flowers, they look brilliant! I think I missed what you were doing, were they special plastic or did you cut up bottles or something? The effect is fantastic! Hope the house clearing is going ok, it’s a sad task but a necessary one, hope it goes smoothly for you.

Yoiks! Loving those gel prints. I have been turning some of mine into digital assets so am feeling quite in the mood to have a gel printing session. But the ICADs seem to be taking up all of my real-life-arting time. There just are not enough hours in the day for all the stuff I hope to do. I appreciate the explanation of your technique back in the MB post so I am ready to get smooshing one day soon... :D
Happy miserably wet WOYWW!

Must admit, I love the added flowers.
Just for the ask . . . how long have you been clearing your Mum's house? I look around mine and think of what will happen to it all . . . DDC says she'll just get a skip . . . . NOOOOOOOO!! LOL
Love all the gel prints . . I've started using my craft mat to print a few backgrounds, doesn't have quite the same feel though.
Have a good week

I am definitely not a fan of the gel plate like you. Even after I HAD to have one, for me it was a waste of money. I'm so glad you explained how you created these wonderful prints. I would never have guessed how they were created.

I like both cards, but I love the one with the flowers. I have never had any real shrink plastic, just # 6 plastic you get mostly from baked goods containers. Works basically the same, but it actually shrinks more in one direction than another. Yours, using real shrink plastic is beautiful. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

Fab gelli prints - are they with paint? I chicken out and use inks as it is so much easier to clean up but one day i will go back to the aint jobs - just need to clear my desk and schedule so I have the room. So much more you can do with paint.
You know, I like both cards. Hard to choose. Maybe with flowers for something more special but without is lovely and classy.

I like both versions of the card. I did a double check to see that they were the same one with and without as they look so different Angela. Hope the house clearing isn't too massive a task. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Fab cards and I really love those backgrounds. I think the one with the bold flowers is my favourite. x x Jo

Thanks for the visit, we were out and about earlier then entertainment in the park. The guy who sang at our wedding was the vocalist of the evening. He does a lot of 60's Elvis etc Always like the projects you share, I need to take a day and do masterboards. They are always handy to have available. I know what you are going thru with cleaning out your mom's. That's why I'm trying to downsize/ my DIL's have no interest in any of our stuff....I donate and advertise bigger pieces etc. But this crafty space is OUT OF CONTROL !!!!! As soon as I dispose of something I need it.................Enjoy a great week.

As always, a delight to see your desk(s). Gel printing is such a fabulous pastime, that I wonder we don't all do it 24/7. Of course that would mean reams of printed paper! I prefer the card without the shrink-wrap somehow. It seems very calm and organic... Happy week, my creative friend!!

Both cards are lovely but I do like the shrink plastic flowers. Shrink Plastic!! Haven't used that in an age!! (Apropos of nothing that has made we wonder where my friendly plastic has gone - don't recall seeing it in the move!!) Thanks for getting back to me re the balloon dog stamp - I guessed it must be some kind of promo but he's still on my wish list - you never know!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #15
