Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
You will see that not much has changed mainly due to family stuff as my father fell at the top of the stairs and they had to take him into hospital, sadly he died yesterday.
My mum has taken this quite well and I think it has been easier for her because he was in hospital but we'll see.

So not much really going on here.
I haven't done anything with the new tube box on the left or the new tub of Paper Clay.
The tin on top of the spotty red box is full of Promarkers.
I have some new magazines that I got when we went shopping for food and the green can is varnish that I sprayed on the ammonite tube that you saw last week so you can see that not much has changed.
These stamps came with the magazines and I'm hoping they will serve as a suitable distraction.
I did make some Gelli Plate printed Masterboards last week.
And made a card with one of these which you can see in the post before this one.
If you've made Gelli prints you will know that when you start making them you soon get pulled into the technique. It's difficult to know when to stop, usually when you run out of drying space really.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to though it may take me a little longer today.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,
Angela x

So sorry to hear about your father Angela. Stay safe. Sarah #2
Oh Angela the stamp goodies that came with your magazines are amazing. Truly in OZ we would be lucky if we get one (very small) freebie. Always fun to play with the gelli prints and I have to agree once you start just keep going .
Stay safe and keep printing.

I am so sorry to hear about your father Angela, that was so sudden I expect you are all still in shock. Hopefully you will find some level of distraction in your crafting, I can't imagine what you and your family are going through, especially in the present situation. Stay safe, stay strong, stay well, Cindy #18

Oh Angela, I’m so very sorry, what an awful shock. I found that everything and anything was a distraction but I didn’t actually settle to much of no useful for a while. Hope you and your Mum can stay well and be strength for each other. Please reach out if you need company or if there’s anything we can do. Xx
Dear Angela. I was so sorry to hear of the death of your father. It will be a hard and difficult time for you all. Do take care of yourself in it all. But I trust you will be able to grieve even with all the restrictions at the moment.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless you.

Oh Angela... I am so sorry to hear about your father. I know how much you have been worrying about both your parents just lately and it's such a worry, with the lockdown and everything. I do hope your mum will be OK and that you will be able to maintain as much direct contact as possible over the coming days and weeks.
You have got some lovely new stamps there, and your gelli printed masterboards are just fabulous - I had a quick look at the card you'd done with them in the previous post and they've worked very well.
Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you enjoyed my post, and liked my cards. I am pleased with how they've come out and think that the Celtic knot designs lend themselves to lots of different occasions really.
Thinking of you at this difficult time and sending you and your family love and good wishes.

Well, as you have no doubt gathered I read your Friday post first and then came to this and saw that you had lost your dad earlier in the week. So sorry Angela. I know how you visited them such a lot doing bits of shopping for the whilst this pandemic has been on. You are in my thoughts obviously.
I do hope the free stamps in the magazines have helped you get through the remainder of the week, it must be harder than normal and you must be worrying about you mum too.
Thinking of you
