WOYWW - 588 What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Do you see that one small object sitting all alone?
The paints to the back and side have been used on this lonely creature.
The stamps to the left are more or less the same as last week but if you look closely there are some triangular pieces left from a recent project which you will get to see soon.

Not very exciting I hear you say but I have been working on the Octopus pebble and I know lots of you are keen to see this so guess you wont mind that there's not much else today.

I believe this is complete and I have added varnish too.

I've propped him up so you can see the tentacles better.
So there he is, well I think it's a he! Hee! Hee!

Just to remind you of how you first saw this pebble.

Can you see the Octopus now?

I think I may have another pebble in waiting actually that might just be showing here soon.

Perhaps I should be worried that these inanimate   objects speak to me in this way Lol!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

On the contrary Angela, I think if they speak to you so, that you should co sided yourself very special. I only see the octopus in the stone now that you’ve done it! It’s wonderful, and I love the colours you’ve used too. Mind you, you’ve got some choice, that’s quite a big Paine selection for a small rock!

I'd have to say I actually see a female octopus and she said she would really love a mate so get those paints out again soon. :-)
Have a great week.

I have to admit that fabric used to tell me what to make until I got into card making! Wish they would speak louder. I just LOVE your octopus!!! So dimensional!
Have a great week!

Oh Angela, your little octopus is just gorgeous! I no longer think the pebble looks like a nose - of COURSE it was an octopus, right from the beginning lol! I think he should have a name. He's just too adorable to remain anonymous.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Angela, the pebble looks so much more happy now he is an Octopus! I've asked our grandchildren to paint some pebbles for the waterfall - I think they may be safer with larger stones though, as they are not very neat painters! Thanks for stopping by earlier - it is amazing how quick time flies! Soon we'll be on countdown to the C word! Have a lovely week, take care, Heather xx #14

Hi Angela, we watched a documentary about an Octopus yesterday. Amazing creatures and yours is lovely. I didn’t participate today as my husband suddenly decided on a visit to his parents and it is four hours away..I bought some colouring to do. My niece bought me two colouring books and has asked me if I have done any yet! So I thought I would do a couple. Have a great week Angela x

Oh dear, we have. difference of opinion here - I think it is a she. Pink for a girl? Whatever it is it is beautiful and I am so glad you got it finished. Well worth the wait.

Thank you for your visit, Angela, and I'm so glad you enjoyed my post. The kitties always tend to take a central role, don't they! They absolutely rule the roost here and I'm always accusing my hubby of spoiling them rotten. (Not that I spoil them at all, of course...)

Looking again at your adorable octopus pictures, and without reading the text this time, it suddenly occurred to me that the final photo of the unadorned pebble looked as if the octopus had escaped and gone off somewhere!! I hope you find him. They are great escape artists!

Your octopus is delightful, Angela; and in spite of the pink, I'm pretty sure it's a he. There is a very masculine feel to it all. :D Well done, my friend.

Hi Angela, what a great vision and how well you’ve brought it out! It reminds me of the Buddhist monk in thr Inspector Shan books by Eliot Pattison who see gods in the natural world.
Stay safe
