WOYWW - 726 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Been playing with some of Kate Crane stamps, just love them.
The exploding box is not much better but guess that's what happens when Mr Mojo takes flight.

You can see some of the stamps here.

These are some acrylic gells that I've been using with stencils but you will have to wait to see the results of those.
My favourite wet glue and a tube of domed blending sponges just behind them.

But I've teased you too much today and here is the card that I posted Monday using one of those stamps:

Hope you like it.

So that's me done for today.

I have my fingers crossed that I can get round today as I've had a problem with my laptop...well Microsoft actually who managed to wipe everything from my computer and I'm still trying to get it all back. It would seem that they want me to go to windows 11 and I want to stay with 10 and despite saying no all my photographs, downloads, etc. disappeared. I hate them!
On top of that we now have a meeting at the Care Home for mum but I will get round to you all when I get back.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Oh Lordy Angela, don’t worry about visits, get the priority stuff sorted and see how you feel! Loving the KC stamps, can’t really go wrong with houses in my opinion, but that big round fish card proves me wrong, it’s fabulous…the text is perfect. Love everything about that card, very you. So sorry to read about Microsoft, they are buggers for forcing you. Our office ‘suite’ went through the same and I can tell you, it wasn’t an improvement. But you already know that it won’t be huh, which is why you want to stay with 10. Great good luck.

Love your fishy card Angela. I’ve had quite a few problems with Windows 11 so I don’t blame you. We didn’t lose any documents or pictures, mind, it was just a while till it settled down.
Dino (a late cat of ours) updated us to W10 with no trouble at all. I used to offer to bring him to advise our work IT, as they had so many problems with W10. A shame he’s no longer around for many reasons.
Take care and happy WOYWW

I'm doing a quick catch up of my favourite blogs in a brief break from my sewing...I'd had 4 customers before 9.30 this morning [crazy!!!].
I love the angler fish on the card. Hope the meeting goes well.

Love the card. Guessed at sometime I would have to go with Windows 11, just thought I would wait a while. The next time it comes through I will accept. I did a complete back up just in case. I do back ups fairly often, but I have been caught out before. I haven’t been able to open Julia’s site for some reason so no number ! Happy WOYWW. Angela CWJ

HOpe things go well at the care home and mum is happy with the outcome, as are you.
kate does some lovely quirky stamps - that fish is super and makes a fabulous focal point for the card.

Oh I do hope you get back those photos and documents Angela. I am saying a firm no to windows 11 too. I am sure the mojo will return soon - great card. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

ADORE that card! so funny and lovely colours and texture. FAB! But Oh my Microsoft. Terrible news and they are so unhelpful when you try to get answers. Hope you get your photos back. Reminds me to have a backup done today!
Happy WOYWW ( just a day late :D )

Happy Belated WOYWW. I love those stamps, and your finished card is wonderful. I have been lucky (touch wood) with Microsoft over the years and not had any issues - always gone onto the new versions early, so had 11 for a while. I would definitely strongly recommend that you use Dropbox or something similar for all your photographs/downloads etc. Saves worrying. Ali x #18

Always a delight to see your Wednesday posts, Angela. I love playing with gel medium with stencils, and can hardly wait to see what you're up to with them!! Sorry to hear about the computer issues - have my fingers crossed (very hard to use the keyboard that way!) that all will be easily resolved. Sending explosive energy to Microsoft on your behalf! :D

Super fish card, love the backing papers.

Boots called me and agreed my experience was appalling and will be sending me a gift card as an apology, found out they don't currently have a manager which might account for it, I was called by a manager from a nearby branch, she was lovely. Not heard from my reglazer yet....Hugs BJ#15
