WOYWW - 662 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Been working with resin recently so I'm in the cabin today which is why you're seeing a different desk.
This is without doubt my peaceful space.
In case you're wondering the suitcase holds large sheets of cardboard saved from the bin.

I've been making Geode style Coasters among other things.
These are a few of the finished ones so we're back on my usual desk again.

A couple of examples.
These will need time to cure completely before they can be used to hold hot cups.
I so enjoy playing with the resin.

I have finished the concertina book.

and details can be found here: with lots more photographs.

Lots to see but hope that was quick enough as you have lots of others to visit.

That's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Wow Angela, the coasters are fabulous. I haven't used resin for years but I definitely want to have another go now I've seen these! The concertina book is gorgeous, such a special treasure.
Hope you have a great week,

Hi again Angela, thanks for your visit to mine and your kind comments about the envelope. I used two stamps - the slice of wood and the miniature tree and then water colour painted the moss and leaves around it! xx

I did wonder about the suitcase…genius hiding place too, in plain sight as a stash holder! Love the geode coasters, how clever you are, they look amazingly real. You’ve been so busy, that concertina has come out beautifully. I really must take a leaf out of your time management book.

I’m rather late getting round today as I’m still playing catch-up from my 6 hours spent correcting my errors.

Here's me thinking you were off ski-ing! No such luck eh? Good idea with the suitcase though.
Love the coasters and I love the concertina book. Is it a Tracy Evans one? It reminds me so much of her colours and style.
Have a great week.

You answered my question about the suitcase even before it was fully formed - made me laugh. And what a good way to store the cardboard. I wish I'd thought of that when I was a travelling instructor - it would have been so useful!

The geode coasters look amazing. I imagine it's very satisfying as the resin hardens and they take shape.
