Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you the next two Thrinchie pages using this Masterboard for the background:

Made these with AALL and Create stencils and Oxide inks.

And so to the pages. Clocks and Numbers

No. 26
It's a bit sad really as there aren't many more to go and I've so enjoyed making these.

No. 27
It was fun creasing these ticket styled stamped images and attaching them loosely to give a little extra depth to the page. They look as though they are floating.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

More work on the violin but it's almost finished now.

I don't know why but it seems to have a face or it just me!

Last Saturday at the Craft Club. The ladies name is Elsa and she came to show us some more ideas for cards.

This is one of the cards we were making using Christmas style tissue paper.

Made with the type of tissue you use to wrap pressies.

Our little doggie visitor.

Pretty cards.

I loved this paper so much that I've ordered some. Great for quick cards.

More tissue paper and spray sparkle.

From the Craft Club........ to Daisy.
Do you like the slippers?

This was before she went for her haircut. That must be comfort at it's best!

I would say she is definitely settling in here.

And a few funnies to finish.....

Here! Here!
Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 699 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I know it's some time since you saw this desk as I've been working in the cabin on the Violin but I also know that some of you wanted to see what I purchased at the craft show so here they are.

First some stamps and a stencil by Kate Crane.           I had said that I would not buy any more stamps at the moment and I certainly did not need these quirky characters by Kate Crane! However!

She was showing us some techniques with alcohol inks and as I have lots of those I have had a play with them since I got back and made some tags. No idea at the moment what I will do with them but they were fun to make.

Next some DURA - LAR which is a type of synthetic paper a bit like acetate, Tim Holtz stuff and some Zinski Art papers.

Stamps (again that I didn't need but they looked different from anything I already have) and some dies.

Thought you might like this too, a card that Kate Crane gave me as a sample, love it.

So that's me done for today.
I did get a parcel from Hobbilicious but you will have to wait until next week to see what was in it but it's worth waiting for.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another two pages for my accordion book made with this Masterboard:

Using AALL and Create stencils.

These two pages are so different.

No. 24 and 25 - Daisy and Quirky

N0. 24

No. 25

These two are certainly a Quirky pair for sure.

How good would either of these look on a card.

But what do you think?
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Sunday was a visit to the Doncaster Dome Craft Show.
It was a bit quieter than when I went in June but it didn't stop me coming home with some great new goodies.

I did spend some time watching Kate Crane, just love her style and her stamps are so much fun too.
She was with James of Stampers Grove.
If you want something deliverted quickly then order on-line at Stampers Grove they are really quick at dispatching stuff.

I just love this journal page.

And such a sweet card.

Loving the tags too.

Usual visit to my mum's to take her shopping and do the housework so nothing very exciting there but that's how we like it. She's doing okay right now.

More gardening while the weather is still good.

We seem to have cut back and dug out rather a lot this year and this part of the garden is looking a bit sad but I'll have a go at tidying it up in the spring and probably some new planting too.

Just a few photos of what's going on at the back of us as I've not shown you for a while.

As I haven't got much else to show you this week I thought you might like to see these.

 They are so pretty.

But I do have a few messages from the Schnauzers for you.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

If you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW - 698 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

So here is my desk for today! and I'm back in the cabin again.

I'm working on ideas for the top of the Violin at the moment but can't say this is how it will look when it's finished yet. Just a few ideas.

The side sections are coming along now and I've added gilding wax to the cogs and tentacles but it's not finished yet. The idea with the tentacals was to make them look as though they were coming out of the Violin sides.

 Next a closer look.

Some of these are MDF and some are moulded resin.

I'm also having a look at the back of the violin but we'll see.

This type of project takes time to complete because you can only attach a few things at a time and then you have to wait for stuff to set but there's always something else to play with while you wait especially as I need to get going with the....dare I say it! Christmas cards.

I did go to the Doncaster Dome on Sunday for the Craft show but been busy since then so will have to show you some of my purchases next week.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Friday fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Last Saturday was the wedding reception for my friend's daughter and we had a lovely evening with the family.

Before that lots of gardening took place.

Look at this little beauty. If you know anything about Bonsai you may have heard of Harry Tomlinson (sadly now deceased) who was the original owner of the Greenwood Gardens near Nottingham. It was on one of our visits there that he dug this tree out of the ground for me then trimmed and planted it, an experience I will never forget. I thought it was the wrong time of the year to do it but he just looked at me and said "We do it because we can" and that's about 15 years ago so obviously he was right!

This is not a job I love but needed to get the Lily leaves out and managed not to fall in Lol!.

 All done.

The only problem with this is that the Heron has a better view of the fish. We did have a visit recently but managed to scare it off.

In a garden as big as this there are always things to cut back and stacks of stuff to get rid of.

I had to show you this little fellow that we found in the garden. They talk about mole skin being soft and I can tell you they are right, his fur was so very soft.

No idea what he was doing above ground but I guess they can't live for ever.

How ever there are others as we had a new mole hill today.

I so love this, we appear to have lots of them at the moment.

Dog funny?

I actually prefer the Schnauzers to the wine!

Just one for today.
Not really funny but certainly true at our house!

Gosh it's a dog's life here!
You can probably see they like each other!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
