Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Now what could this be?

Someone was excited to see what was inside!

French cheese from the Cheese Lady.

In case you're interested this is the address.
Excellent packaging and very quick delivery.

A nice evening with my friend and her family.

Here we are together.
Her eldest daughter had not arrived when we came here in 1988 so I didn't meet either of them for a few weeks.

Hubby had his birthday on Tuesday so we were back over here again for a curry.

Wednesday was a funneral for a family member but he was in his 90's and had a good life and everyone had lots of smiles as well as tears.

Many of you will have heard about the amount of rain that has flooded parts of Nottingham.
We go through Nottingham county to get to the crematorium and we were lucky as they had to close part of the A1 dual carriageway but we got past it just as they were arriving to close it so still manged to get there on time.

Just a few funnies to finish which show the real character of Schnauzers....

The worrying thing is that they even look as though they are enjoying being dressed up!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Angela x

Your pictures of the schnauzers always make me smile. I have yet to meet a dog that really likes to be fressed up, but these always look quite comfortable, or maybe just resigned!
I am glad the floods didn-t ruin your plans. it does look pretty horendous on the news.
I always find family funerals are a mixture of joy and sorrow. It is good to meet up with folk you only get to see on such occasions.
I'm glad you had a good time with your friends. Kate x

It's lovely to see you had a good time with your friend and her family.(Great to see a photo of you!)
And I agree with you on family funerals. They can be really nice reunions with family members that live far apart or are not in regular contact.
The dressed up schnauzers made me smile.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

And nice to see you! :-)
Yes, flooding here also. We´re good, but parts of the city not so much and more up north it´s really very bad.
Funny dogs, have a great weekend xxx

omd
your girly dog barks at people in hats! Milo does not like when I wear gloves or mitts and bumps my hands repeatedly to see if they are in there! So sorry to hear about the flooding... the climate is not happy here either, much warmer generally than we're used to with dryer conditions. Your dinner sounds so cozy

Good wine, with good bread and good cheese is really what life is all about. Nothing else matters!

How wonderful to celebrate with friends, and your schnauzer photos are pure delight. It always cracks me up to see dogs looking happy to be dressed to the nines...I've never had a dog that would tolerate that for a second! 🤣
