WOYWW -791 - What's on your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

So today!
well I'm working on some A4 Masterboards.
The exploding boxes are just about surviving!

I'm also printing the back of one of these too.

I've used 'Lavinia Stamps' Stencils for these designs and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.

Hopefully by next week I can show you what I've made with them.

This was one of the stencils.

I bought this set of stamps on Saturday when Jo Channon came to the Craft Club to teach a Tutorial.
I'm thinking I might use it on this project but we'll see. The stamps behind it are an old Tim Holtz set.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you how I made some collage papers for my Masterboard Grids:

I thought it might be fun to play with black and white for a change and used a Kate Crane stencil.

Gradually building up the grids using the collage papers.

Cutting, ripping and gluing onto the drawn grid squares.

Next added some stencilled Vellum and using an AALL and Create stencil added Stamperia Volume paste covering all four grids.

I cut out one of the grids and layered it with black and red card then attached this to the white card blank.

The sentiment is by Tim Holtz.

And that's your lot!
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Well actually this is what Alfie's been up too really.
More apple thieving!

If the apples refuse to come off he just breaks the branch! He's a naughty boy!

Daisy just picks up the left overs.

Don't worry this is not our wall!

It took a while to find out how this had happened.
Apparently a learner driver drove down our street and turned left and kept turning more and more to the left and this happened.
I suspect this was a shock for everyone.

Daisy however thinks it's all boring and not worth worrying about,

Alfie's watching the TV not sure what it is he's watching.

I was trying to take a photograph through the window and he decided to turn round and see what I was up to, nosy dog.
Love the photo though! A true Schnauzer face.

We decided to take them to the seaside before it got too busy.
It was a lovely day, breezy warm and fairly quiet too.
Our favourite place called Anderby Creek on the East Coast towards Skegness.

It was a lovely day and the drive there was nicw too as it was fairly quiet.

And so was the beach but I bet it's not like that now.

I love these houses, they stand facing the beach.

I forgot to photograph the dogs while we were there but here's a little chap to make you smile.

He's all set for his journey, what a sweetie.
They were parked just outside the cafe.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 890 - What's On Your workdesk Wednesday.

I'm working on some more collage papers to add to my Masterboard Grid journal.
Using some Kate Crane stencils for this.

I can't really say there is anything much different here today but I know you wanted to see some of the stuff I brought back from Doncaster craft show so here they are.

The Doncaster show is run by Create and Craft and they have these £10.00 goody bags for sale and I just can't resist a surprise and here's what was in it.

Not bad really, mostly Studio Light in this bag which I love so good for me. They do let you look in the bags before you accept it so there is a choice if you're not sure but this had some great die sets, stamps, Brush markers, shaker blisters, card and die cut images, so I think that's well worth ten pound.

Sorry about the shiny bits, photographed these with the light on last night.

Now this wasn't all I bought obviously!

Dies, gems, stamps,stencils.
The Woodware stamps are all Christmas themed and hoping to give these a go sooner rather than later, like not the week before Christmas Lol!

I went to this craft shows with a list of about four things and come back with all these!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

What no Masterboard?

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with stencils and a stamp by Lavinia Stamps:

I started this by stencilling the card blank with a Prima stencil paste and Lavinia Feather Leaf stencil.

This is such a gorgeous stamp.

And stamps so well.

Heat embossed this with clear powder ready to apply the inks.

I began by applying the Distress Oxides to a craft mat, spray a little water to spread the ink and pulled the colour onto the card.
If you're wondering why there are two stamped images it's because you never know when you might need a spare!

Don't over do the colour for the background as we're adding more ink next with more stencils.

Used Feather Leaf stencil and
continued to colour the Jelly Fish with Tim Holtz Watercolour Pencils.

I finished the stencilling along the edge with Foliage stencil.
I layered this on black card and then on the card blank finishing with Stickles Glitter Glue and Tim Holtz Small Talk sentiment.

Just a couple of enlarged pics and we're all done.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My main day of fun this week was at the Crafting live show at Doncaster.

This was Saturday and it was really busy.

But a great day.

Had to photograph these as I know Annie will love them.
I was well tempted myself as this company have some gorgeous fabrics.

Also had a look round the Woodware stamps too, some nice ideas for Christmas cards, it will be here before we know it!

Then off for lunch.

I did pop outside for a bit of fresh air and although it was dry it was quite dull so didn't stay out for long.

If you didn't know already this is Doncaster Racecource.

Obviously bought a few things home with me!

I'm off out again today but will show you photos of it next week and for now wishing you a great weekend with lots of smiles, great company and timed to spend
with someone you love.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.
