Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I went to the Craft Club on Saturday which was fun and we made some interesting cards using letters as a mask.

Bit quieter than usual.

Therse were the samples we were given and
I decided to make some Christmas cards.

The rest of the week has been quiet too as Hubby has been away and the dogs have been in kennels for half the week and I've been clearing yet another wardrobe.

However, when the dogs got back on Wednesday there was water everywhere.

Hubby didn't think they would need a bath but I insisted, what do you think? Look at that water!

Daisy's had her bath.

It had not been raining this was these two after their bath!

Alfie  has had his bath.

Two very wet dogs.

Having dried off Alfie went to check the apples to see what he fancied as a snack.

He's very naughty but he knows what he likes though I have no idea how he worked this one out as I have never given him any apples to eat.

After that he was very tired and decided to have a nap, not sure where Daisy is.

That's about right.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

woyww - 787 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Not very exciting today, even the exploding boxes look as though they are behaving!!
I've just been playing with some new metalic pens. I realised when I was looking for some in the drawer that lots of them had dried up so ordered these from Amazon and I might say they are looking good.

I did post a selection of CAS cards on Monday's blog and these are some of the ones that I've not put away yet, been using up some old Masterboard pieces.
There are details of these on the post below this one here:

So that's me done for today, nice and quick today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Left-overs.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

So many times I have left over pieces of masterboard and you just can't waste them so today here are a few cards where I've used them to create CAS cards.

Thee are copies from an earlier Masterboard which I scanned and recoloured. The original was Faux Bleaching and you can find the details here:

I always feel that creating a CAS card is one of the most difficult to make sure it looks complete.

The masterboard for this one was a combination of spraying and smooshing.

And the Masterboard for this one was my massive collection of postage stamps to create a collage effect.

All these cards follow the same process.
I have included a background colours, main image, sentiment and embellishments.

The layouts are all slightly different and planned in such a way to lead the eye around the card often using odd numbers of elements or arranging them in such a way that elements are in sets of odd numbers.
There are other ways of doing this but it seems to work for me, hope you think so too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
